#250hi sbr forum members. just thought i'd stop by again and reminesce about the olden days.

john ryan has been hot this football season hahhahaah but last week he picked against me. and u see what that paid. maybe i'm his 20* pick this week.
anyway i'm bak at atlanta this week and i've been studying game film and field pictures very hard to be ready against my old team but i'll let you in on a little secret. i've been slipping in these chad johnson vs the dawg pound pics in between my falcons formations pics.
if coch reid found out he'd be furious. but look.
here you can see ocho cinco is very brave jumping rite into the heart o the dawg pound

he clearly has taken out the main dawg with a head helmut butt to the gut.

i think this is good vs one on one but now all the other Dawgs are upon him.

so i think that tactically ocho proly should of waited to halftime and come in from behind down a fan entrance ramp. attacked and then jump onto the field of play for a quick escape.
please please do not tell Andy about this he is paying me $750,000 dollars to play this sunday and he would be mad at me for splitting my attention.
ty again.

#252I have several hours into consensus within Beat the Prick contest and will be making several parlays based upon it. Couple overs really stand out cinci/den and hous/miami and Jags got a ton of support. Monday morning my lines had 49er's favorites -2 so I like them alot. Consensus does not always work as last night I had the under in Boise game while consensus shows only 2 liking it. I posted score at 38-17 earlier.
Do you ever join contests. Any interest in 5 man team contest?
Originally posted by John RyanThe Consensus Figures are a great tool for identify POTENTIAL betting opportunities. The most glaring one is the ravens/Titans game where more than 84% of all best are on the Ravens. These are contrarian indicators and signify that taking the Ravens is a POTENTIAL trap bet. I have used this technique to reinforce any graded play produced by my simulator and when they work hand in hand it strengthens the winning percentage considerably ATS. Another potential setup is the Dallas/49er game where 75% of all public bets have been on Dallas making the 49ers an attractive look at this point. Hope this is helpful and I will send out another does of these stats around 8:00 PM tonight ET.Comment -

#256Originally posted by John RyanPlay No. 2 Take New England over San Diego. This line opened at New England favored by 7 +105 and has moved to 6 1/2 at MatchBook.
So: Take New England -6 1/2 -105
Your not worried about the center being injured? I liked NE until I saw he was out indefinitely. Center is a key position, usually backups will be out of sync and good for a turnover or two. Backup played out the Miami game good but that game was already won. Anyway just wondering if you have any thoughts/concerns about the injury to the starting center?

#257Thanks for the picks. I am big on Detroit myself this weekend. When I saw the line move to -7.5 I jumped. Do you think there is a chance that game gets bet down to 7 or 6.5 even? Good luck this weekend.Comment -

#262Detroit -9 is where it opened so it is not like it is moving away from value.. less value obviously, but not a concern to me. I have lost games by the hook and won games by the hook, but the large majority of results are not determined by the hook. Make sense?Originally posted by Jcm144My book is giving me DET at -9 and Pats at -7, still take it?Comment -

#264Normally, I would. But this is New England and we have all seen how they respond to any and all injuries. Literally plug and play with their depth. In college it would be a bigger concern, but they have had a week to work together and it is not the first time they have worked together.. so.. I appreciate hearing the update as I did not see that he was out. Great question for sure.. and the answer is New England will not miss a step.Originally posted by KindredYour not worried about the center being injured? #265Hilarious. I feel honored that Vick knows I bet against him and I may just do it again so he writes hear again next week. Or maybe someone can contact Coach Ried and get his input in our thread. He may be too busy though studying Vince Lombardi's "How to be a Game Day Coach and know blow the Super Bowl' book. Vick did you know that Coach Ried went to a Super Bowl?Originally posted by vividjohn45hi sbr forum members. just thought i'd stop by again and reminesce about the olden days.

#272GB will key on the run? Here is where it all goes wrong for you John. Last season Dom Capers played a nickel defense or 2-4-5 look over 65% of the time last year. He rarely plays a base 3-4 scheme because his nickel defense is adequate against the run. The play action game from Carolina won't be nearly as damaging against 5 db's as it would against 4 or a base defense. Carolina will surely move the ball against GB, most teams do. Problem is, as the field gets shorter GB's defense gets better. Teams routinely move the ball against the Packers, but scoring in the red zone will be difficult for the talented rookie Newton. Also, Carolina's RT is out for this game and a rookie will be taking over, Clay Matthews is licking his chops!!Originally posted by John RyanIt is that time. Here is the link for the 20* Titan play. GL on your play John, it could very well cash; just feel your analysis of what GB is keying on defensively is off.Comment -

#278I agree with what you are saying. If Capers comes up with nickel packages, the Carolina is gong to run between the tackles. They may even use a quarterback sweep with Newton's speed to make GB respect the perimeter. I think whatever scheme Capers uses, Carolina will counter and have an advantage.Originally posted by StevedoreGB will key on the run? Here is where it all goes wrong for you John. #279So, I am 4-2 ATS after Week 1. Broken down with a 3-2 ATS record with the 5* plays and won with Dallas Sunday Night as a 10* play.
Sunday's plays are Detroit, San Francisco, and New England.
Plus, the 20* play at this link
