I'm sorry but I don't consider killing dogs Murder. I don't consider killing any animal as MURDER. Just by saying that puts animals on a higher pedestal than humans. Unsurprisingly, I agree that killing an animal is not murder, as pertaining to its absolute connotation involving human beings, but if you're willfully killing a dog, not for sustenance or in an act of self-preservation, than the connection made in one's brain at that time is not chemically different than is the action of purposefully killing a person.

vick was punished , i think he paid his dues. he was a cunt for what he did but he was punished. i think the punishment was appropriate. i dont know what you are talking about goldengreek when you are talking about rapists and murderers not being punished enough. it is not relevant to this. rapists and murderers sometimes get away with a less harsh sentence and it is a shame. the justice system has plenty of flaws there is no doubt about that. perhaps vick's celebrity status was enough to condemn him. if he was a nobody he may have gotten a lesser sentence. but he is a role model for many children (before all of this) and is required to live up to a higher standard. that is just how it is. but a rapist getting less jail time than he deserves does not make vick's crime less. what he did was fuked up just the same.

He was convicted of the FEDERAL FELONY crime of funding an interstate gambling ring and spent time in FEDERAL prison according to the sentencing guidelines just like everyone else convicted of same - no more, no less. The Federal criminal system is very black and white.

Animal cruelty is a lowly misdemeanor state charge that he likely would have gotten a small fine and/or probation at worst if prosecuted solely for that offense. Everyone is entitled to their opinion as to the seriousness of crimes but our justice system in this country is set up to mirror the collective values of the majority (at least the majority who vote).


I still think he's a bad guy (and a below average QB with a career passer rating of around 75) but don't deflect attention from the facts like you are accusing others of doing and try to use big words in your posts to try to give yourself credibility.
