I think the decision came down to one thing, they don't want Kolb to get killed behind this offensive line. Sure Vick is playing well right now, but the chances of Kolb getting levelled again because his mobility obviously is not that of a Vick is pretty high given the state of the O-line. I also would not be shocked if they weren't show casing Vick for a possible trade while his value is the highest IT WILL EVER BE AGAIN. Bills, Jags, CARDINALS all should be in line.

And anyone who thinks Kolb won't be the QB when the time is right is out of their mind.

i dont understand why people are jumping for joy for mike vick to start. its not like they are gonna win the superbowl with that defense. does him starting mean that they intend on resigning him? i doubt hes gonna take a lesser deal to stay in philly..... and philly dont like to pay people to begin with.
unless they are just trying to pump up his trade value, starting vick and having him walk at the end of the season is a waste of time.

i think they are undecided on what to do with vick hence why they are startin him. if they decide to keep him they will pay him what he is worth i mean hell they were willing to pay him what 5 mill this year to be a backup?
