Good luck to him, makes sense only if Reid really wanted to play Vick ahead of McNabb but could not because of loyalty. So, he just got McNabb out of the way and now at first chance does what he really wanted to do all along. I guess Kolb can be the long term answer still. You can make a short term commitment to one person and long term to another, it is possible, but what if they go 11-5 or 12-4 and get to the NFC Championship game with Vick starting how do you go back to Kolb?

With or without Vick, you gotta look at the Eagles Defense...They gave up 32 points to Detroit with a back up QB.

Vick should be able to tear up their Defense, it's pretty bad. But who knows if Maurice Jones Drew will KILL Philly's.

I must admit,Vick has impressed me and hasn't complained.Do I think he's a different person?No.....but I think that he's been a good example post-incarceration and he's played fairly well.Maybe he can be someone that changed his life and can be respected to a degree.Time will tell.

That is where your wrong, did you hear what Reid said? This decision has NOTHING to do with the Kolb injury.
Down the line Reid would see that Kolb really sucks, put in Vick and Vick would of ended up being the starter then, compared to now

fck anyone hating on VICK in this situation!! Guy 100% gives this team the best chance to win. I like to know whos getting axed for giving Kolb that new contract. They should of kept Mcnabb but a focused Vick Ill take especially in a divison that is on the decline..
