why would you parlay and lay them all straight? thats the kiss of death in my book..

Why is it the kiss of death? I've done the same thing. 4 units on each game and 1 or 2 units on the parlay. If you sweep, it's the extra special sugar on top. If you hit two of three, the 1 or 2 units on the parlay doesn't keep you from making a solid profit.

It seems within reason for a confident player.

I guess so man.. but when you are already laying a stack on a side of the game... and you pick 3 games.. there is no reason to put another 1k on a parlay.. You miss 1 game.. and now you are juiced on the day.. if you don't parlay.. and you miss 1 game.. you are up almost a unit...

Confident or not my brother.. i don't lay a bet i am not confident in.. however the laws of nature have their own way of doing things.. therefore no matter how much time and effort and work i put in.. it's every easy to go from 3-0 to 2-1.. and so on..

If you are already down 5k on a week. and reloaded to just get in on sunday.. no need to chase it all in the morning.. watch the books and make your stab at the afternoon games.. the books are always sharper then and it's usually easier pickings..

erock ur right mate he only plays $100 for the parlay...what i meant in my original post was that smack needs a sound money management system. if he is reloading every week thats fine, but i think its a stupid idea to lose ur roll for the week, reload on a sunday n play 70% of the new roll on just the morning games. i love smack n even though im not tailing him i wouldve loved to see him go 3-0 but the way he plays he's just gonna end up giving everything back to vinnie

That's pretty close to my play lol. I'm taking PIT +3 (EV), and about half that on the ML at +155. I think I'm going huge. This is definitely gonna be my biggest bet ever. Hope I'm right lol.

Leaning toward PITT +3 I dont think big bens injury is that serious the media is hypeing it up. These games are usually close. I like Pitt to win SU! Big Ben is 13-7 ATS as a dog!!
