I like Rams and Lions as dogs. Texans will probably beat colts. I dont know about steelers and eagles though....they might loose.

seriously, the ones in red which are red for a reason are going to make folks money was and is my thought.

PIT @ home - doesnt matter who is under center, fact remains Heinz is a tough place to play and Lebeau and the rest of the Steelers D are an even more forbidable opponent.

IND @ HOU - this has been on my radar for the last 2 weeks. The Texans are being built to beat IND and what better time than the 1st week of the season.

PHI - folks are sleeping on Kolb and his ability. GB IS the better team imho, but I think PHI matches up well and their D and blitzing should give GB fits, especially the O-line.

RAMS - ARZ has fallen apart with the uncertainty at QB. Andersen didnt get enough of the 1st team reps and will struggle the 1st couple weeks. STL O impressed beyond my expectations during PS and while they still suck, their D and sub-competent O should keep them in a few more games this season.

Chiefs - Arrowhead is one tough place to play. The Chiefs tend to stick around alot at home and make a game out of it for almost any opponent. Again, SD being the perrenial div. champ, KC has been built to try to unseed SD as the continuing champs.

Skins - Americas team gets all the love from hillbillys who know nothing about football. Snyder, while an idiot, has managed to do something I think worth while this year. I really like WSH chances for a BIG turn around season.

I really like the Chiefs to win outright against the Chargers on Monday night. The Chargers are overrated IMO and you throw in an unproven RB, 2 important holdouts and a key suspension and this team becomes very average. The Chiefs are getting better and I look for Charles to have a huge season.

Very tough week...I like the Steelers and Skins but can't see the others covering the spreads. Maybe the Cheifs???

Do I really have to pull up the sechedule? *sigh* Ya shouldda included their opponents. I happen to know the cowboys are coming to Philly - I'd like the Eagles much better at 3.5 points. Someone prolly wins by a fg. Hell if I could bet THAT specifically I'd put a buck and a half on it at even odds. =)

I dont advise fading Indy. THey destroy the books every year. Books do everything to make them look like they are gonna lose with the line moves but imo its not wise to fade reg season manning. NOt saying houston loses but they had indy 2 times last year and blew it. They have to beat indy first for me to buy it.

Skins at +3.5 at home with a hook should be a mandatory play.

Was also looking at this today ... Agree with your 2 in the black and I would put WAS and KC in black as well. Just dont see DAL losing its opener to a division rival like that, and granted hes playing on another team Mcnabb always seems to get eaten up by DAL. I actually like DAL -3.5. SD may have lost a step in the pass game with V-Jax, but I think there ground game will much improve with Mathews. SD -4.5 just seems way too inviting though. I like the other 4 you have in red though, especially STL.

yeah my problem is indy is amazing on the road 3 pts or less to a division rival .. however something is up with this line.. public is pounding it.. it might be a no play for me.. i got enough action lined up for sunday don't need another play..

skins+3.5 is starting to look good LB.. dallas is also going to have some serious issue's early on .. some serious questions on offense right now.. Skins have a lot to prove right now and have a great home crowd

I'm gonna be all over Pittsburgh. I also like Houston but like you said, it's hard to go against Manning in the regular season and also the Texans have always come up short when they've had the opportunity to beat the Colts. I do like the Skins and think that one stays close. Chiefs stink but not seeing a San Diego blow out. I would not take the Eagles as I think the Packers will be far too much for them to handle.

I think the 3 I bolded are solid plays. Houston has been waiting for this game since last year. They'll catch the Colts off guard right at the start like they did last year. But this time they will be more disciplined and hold onto the lead in my opinion. If the Bookies really thought Indy was the play why are they only -1 to a team they have dominated every year?
