Yes I sent you an email with the above NFL plays. Did you receive the plays? No I wager based on unit amounts. Each unit for me is 2.5% which equates to the following:

NFL Plays = 2 units (5% of my balance)
NCAAF Plays = 5 units (12.5% of my balance)

Nice hit with your Dallas play. I was also on Dallas. Niners should make the post season but thats it. I like the Vikes if Favre comes back. They should have won it last season...In the AFC I like the Titans.

Personally, I do not understand the love affair with Favre. Like most people, I was surprised that he played so well last year. However, I think he overachieved. If people are expecting the same kind of production and results from him this year - they will have a rude awakening. That is not to say the Vikes won't do well - they are loaded with talent, but I think Favre digresses. (hello regression to the mean).

And you really like the Titans? Vince Young wins, but he's far too inconsistent for my liking and the team isn't as stacked as the Vikes. They will need a difference maker at QB, not a game manager. I'm just not sold that V Young can put it all together for an entire season. Last year he had no expectations coming off the bench for a winless team. You know what they say about backups - everyone loves them ....... until they are the starter.

But I'll keep an eye on your picks. I'm really liking this website/community so far. Cheers.

The Titans have one of the best coaches in the league and they were the hottest team last season over the last 7 games of the season. There is not a clear cut favorite in the AFC and I believe they have as good a shot as anyone to represent the AFC this season.

Yes I wager more with my NCAAF plays. As I previously mentioned I will probably have between 25-35 NCAAF plays this season. My NFL is good but my NCAAF is pretty damn good!

Really like your totals picks on Pitt/Det and NYJ/NYG. Do you ever use "Wong" teasers for preseason? If Houston & St Louis get at least +1 by kickoff I may play that. I like the trend of Minn never doing anything 1st game as well as St Louis doing well last preseason , but I'm concerned Jackson & Rosenfels may see significant playing time with the Favre situation still up in the air.

Since you make your picks a few days in advance, I take it you don't get too concerned about quarterback rotations for a particular game (although Seattle has a great preseason rotation)?

I look at QB rorations and what I presume will take place. I look at the NFL teams a few months before the pre-season to get a good idea of what I think will take place. I like to get my wagers in early before I lose value with a possible line drop such as the Det/Pitt under.

Question regarding this. I might end up waiting until closer to game time because, as I wrote before, I'm tailing in baseball, too, and I don't want to deplete my roll right away. Would you recommend buying points to get to the spread you list here, or should I just sit out any that I can't get?

No do not buy points and do not sit out for a few reasons. First, none of the plays that I have posted are borderline plays regarding the NFL "Key Numbers". Second, I wouldnt worry about a 1/2 point here or there in the pre-season as some if not most of the underdog plays I list are actually good Money Line wagers but I always play the spread in the NFL meaning not to often will I play the Money Line.

If you have any concerns about line's and if you should play a game or not let me know and I will give you my opinion.

Thx for the email with all the plays, stupid question probably but what do you hope to hit % or profit wise, and historically is Pre-Season your strong time?

I hope to have a win rate of 65% in the NFL pre-season. As far as the NFL regular season I hope to have a win rate at or about 60%. As far as NCAAF I know what I expect my win rate to be but I won't post that info again because it may draw some in the peanut gallery to fire bombs at me. Lets put it this way, if I can stay on or above 60% for the NFL and continue my great success in College Football we will have made a substantial amount of money this season in football.
