2010-2011 NFL Investment Plays

Bookmark this thread as it will be my last. My purpose of a new thread is to get a fresh start with the first pre-season game getting under way tomorrow night.

Gambling: The wagering of money or something of material value (referred to as "the stakes") on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning additional money and/or material goods. Typically, the outcome of the wager is evident within a short period.

Investment: The commitment of money or capital to purchase financial instruments or other assets in order to gain profitable returns in the form of interest, income, or appreciation of the value of the instrument. [1] It is related to saving or deferring consumption.

I consider legal sports wagering an investment rather than a gamble. If a game has a outcome we can turn it into an income. BOL this season!

NFL Pre-Season Wagering:

Contrary to what some people might think I believe the NFL Pre-Season is a excellent opportunity to build your bankroll for the regular season. IF you understand and know how to cap pre-season games you can make a ton of money. There are a few factors in capping pre-season games but I believe the most important is the coaches and their prior pre-season track record and tendencies. Do not look to deep into stats and new players transitioning to new/different teams, those are non factors with capping the pre-season. Also another important factor is you better know how each coach prepares for each week of the pre-season because these 4 weeks of pre-season NFL are all different in game planning and different in playing time for all players. All BS aside I have been real successfull with wagering on the NFL pre-season and the few that arent just simply do not know what to look for during this time.

Carolina @ Baltimore UNDER 34, -110

The Baltimore Ravens have played to the under at a astounding rate of 74% (14un-5ov) in the pre-season over the last 5 years. In coach John Harbaugh's first two seasons with Baltimore as their head coach that trend has continued posting a rate of 75% (6un-2ov).


**NOTE** No line posted at this time for the Oakland/Dallas game. If I have a play for that game I will post it once the line is released.

Jacksonville +3, -110 @ Philadelphia

Philadelphia is 3-9 ATS the past 4 years in the pre-season. Also, Andy Reid does NOT go all out in the first pre-season game of the year as evident by the Eagles posting a 0-6 mark the past 6 years. The Eagles have not won their first pre-season game since 2003.


Kansas City @ Atlanta -3, -110

The past 3 years the Kansas City Chiefs have either no talent to win or no desire to win in the pre-season posting a record of 1-11 ATS during that time span.

All my plays are 5% of my bankroll. Each day I re-calculate my wager amount based on my DAILY balance.
