NFL since 12/17/16...was overdue for a heater. Looking to keep this going through the finish. Was once down 36.9 units now only 11. It would be quite a feat to finish even this year. That's the goal at this point

My local guy is a guy that's always been Fair and reasonable with me. I like him he likes me, there's respect and trust because we've been through years of ups and downs together due to our mutual interest in football and basketball. very business like relationship lol. Saying that, I sometimes make decisions to play a side harder if I hear from him that the action he takes is extremely lopsided. We all know The house wins more then the players, especially in heavily bet games. OF COURSE this doesn't always work, recently he's been getting killed...ohio state and Bama were both very lopsided very heavily bet games that come to mind that he got buried on...last night, Texans...doesn't matter, I will always feel more comfortable placing a bet when it's opposite the players $$$. My guy is small, handles between 30-50 players but again,certain games throughout the year knowing that he's getting 80% on one side gives me the advantage when going the other way...obviously sometimes I get burned. "Public" has done very well this year...I've read articles about Vegas taking bit hits most recently the national championship game. So of course No sure thing in gambling but that's what went into me upgrading the play close to kickoff. He needed Texans to cover bad cause the people pounded the hell out of patriots in the last 30 minutes prior to kickoff. The mushers won and I lost cause Brock Asswiler is garbage. Had a good chance to cover though...2-2 -2.4

The game never ever felt like it would be a 2 score game but then Brock turned back into Brock. Int turns a 8 pt game into 15 and then driving for at minimum a fg Asswipe throws another int. That being said Will Fuller dropped a perfect pass for a TD. Game should have never been a dbl digit margin. Houston D played great

They picked brady 2 times and got a fumble on a kickoff all in their own end and couldn't convert them into enough points. Osweiller is beyond horrible. He made out like a bandit with that contract he got.

I did feel like Houston+16 was the right bet for most of the game. Was a tough beat. Was a couple tough beats actually. My totals play on Falcons game felt same way and slipped away in the last half of the final quarter..today's a new day

Just read this and I think it's really interresting that you have "insider" information from your local guy.

I always wondered why some guys like you were using "local guys" instead of the popular online website. Do you pay less juice? Do you have some king of "custom bets"? Maybe insiders infos?

I'm prolly a lot younger than you and started gambling online ( played online poker as my only income for 5 years straight) and I'm having a hard time understanding why someone would rather do bussiness with some local guy instead of using a large reputed secured website?

How do you place your bet? Call or text your guy? Does he have a website or I don't know? Do you have some kind of ongoing bill with him and you cashout when you want?

Like I said, I'm just curious as to why and also how you use a local guy!

I'm just so used to being able to easily place a bet online with my cellphone anytime I want...

How people choose to do business is not my concern. I have outlets to place my action. Local and online. Tax implications are a real thing because my I am self employed and I'm highly likely to be audited. That's all I'll say about that. I occasionally use my locals input on big games as a handicapping tool, makes sense right? Best of luck
