NC just has to learn when to take a break,, he will figure it out, that why i usually do my chill time after the baseball all-star break then get back at it mid august (actually later this yr), that way im primed and ready for the nfl and the 3 month grind of ncaa hoops. then another break till i start lightly with 1st month of bases and get serious for the nba playoffs as they always a good bankroll builder..many years ago i tried going all the way thru like NC and found myself burnt around this time or a month later when college hoops grind was in full effect,he just gotta work on his timing as this a great part of the nfl season where you can trust more numbers and hopefully have a decent handle on things (which clearly he does), that iron only stays hot a few more weeks as im not a huge fan of weeks 16 and 17..

Yesterday was actually the hardest day of the eight, because I liked all four of those games a lot. Sure enough....
Coin' I read in a previous thread you actually quit betting?! That's a surprise to me, I've followed your threads topically and always seemed like you knew what you were talking about within the last years. I would not say I'm "in tune" with this forum as a whole, esp. with all its details, but I'm surprised by that action, seems like you were a winner. In any case good luck, and if you did quit - the same, good luck.Comment -

#459makes sense.. i really put very little into ncaa foots anymore, have enough ppl i respect i can piggy back a few and sprinkle in some of my square specials which seem to work ok in that sport.. i luv college hoops but in all reality im better off not taking it real serious until conf play as it mostly numbers for me and not enough early on to feel great about it.. i might bet 30 nba reg season games a year, on xmas only cause that only thing to do, occasionally a play here and there but i have no idea how anyone caps that sport all season? i know guys that good at it but i never been one of them, now the playoffs a different story as nba is square tastic when it comes to playoffs!Comment -

#461Think the Jets (ML), Bengals (ML), Bears, Rams and Texans cover today, though there were much more attractive numbers for all three earlier in the week. Just taking a look for the first time this morning.Last edited by No coincidences; 12-01-13, 11:39 AM.Comment -

#464Nothing really sticks out as huge play worthy. I'd play conservatively this week if I were you. Plus, it all depends on the # you can get. For instance, if you can get Texans at +9, take it and pay the juice. If you can get Browns at less than 7, take it. Rams were great at 10, but 7.5 is dicey. Bengals aren't nearly as attractive now that they aren't at a + number. Jets ML is OK at -115 or so, but you're backing a team starting Sims at QB now.
Just nothing really outstanding on this card.Comment -

#467Check back before gametime and see if Pinny continues to juice JAX at a "better number" than the other books. This might be a DD Browns win.Comment -

#478Crunching numbers, I come up with the over between SF/CAR (with the side being a virtual toss-up), Saints and the under, Pats and and Bolts (no opinions on those two totals).Comment -

#490Good luck, Bank. I'm not fully convinced that Carolina can win here, but I'll take my chances with the +3 on the home dog. Think it'll be a close game, and I'm with you re: the scoring. Not that I think it will fly over, but I do think at least 20 from both sides is a distinct possibility.Comment
