cause despite how much it may seem that i been teasing totals lately for the most part it just low numbers up to go under (besides that 6 teamer last week), im really pretty by the book with teases and while ive been willing to re-write the book a little on the teases concerning totals not ready to just tease totals left and right to get the number i want.. that said i havnt even thought of it and teasing the dal number down prob a slam dunk for the over... far as balt i refuse to tease across 0, dont wanna get into a teaser debate as there been many around here but i simply dont believe in teasing thru 0 as besides recently with totals i am very much a believer in Wong teasers.

#1092Good and valid points Bank. I agree with you about teasing through zero, and I thought about that after my post. I usually try and stay way from teasers, but I find myself going with them more and more in the last few weeks which is definitely not a good thing. Have you shared your rules for teasers in your thread? I'm interested in what you have to say. Thanks.Comment -

ravens-1.5 (1.5x).. i respect and appreciate you guys that tried to get me off this gm like i asked but i just cant help myself here.. obviously my "square" hat on in this one as clearly smarter ppl or at least cats with more money than me driving this line the opposite direction than i think it should be going.. all i can say is i made this balty-4 and i think that was being very fair to the brownies as ya'll know i have bet this team several times (including the 1st week hoyer started after the t-rich trade and everyone was all over minny), i know that this a solid team and will be up and comers once they find a qb, that said campbell is not the answer, sure he is better than weeden and yea every gm browns have played where that scrub wasnt the qb they have been decent at least, im sorry campbell supporters but being better than a 45 year old guy who just left college last year doesnt mean you are good after a 12 yr career of backup mediocrity..
bottom line is i still believe in balty as a team and organization from top to bottom, yea they got raked over the coals due to flucco having a great playoff run but they still a smart club and i feel have done a very good job of upgrading on d even with losing killer ray and old man reed, this dline is a fearsome group who ranks 2nd in the league in sack percentage and flat out pressures the qb, they facing a cle offense that presents absolutely no threat of a running gm and will be able to pin their ears back and do what they do best here..it would be irresponsible for me not to admit while im saying cle has no threat of a run gm that yes in fact balty rushing attack has been every bit as bad as browns if not worse, i understand that, however i believe cle run gm is what it is and has been since drafting t-rich and since trading him, they just not a strong rushing team period. while balty has struggled i cant help but look at them and not believe their problems cant be fixed with the guys they have up front and ray rice who has proven to be a premiere back in this league who is still well within his prime. so yea im projecting a little as there not a stat out their that makes it fair for me to say cle is unable to run (true and proven) but balty can run (total speculation on my part) but that is exactly how i feel and coming off a few tough losses and a bye week i trust harbaugh (who is perfect off bye's btw) to step in and let the OC know it time for this team to get back to making rice the focal point of the offense...
in the end i expect another defensive battle here as these typically are. i expect balty to out rush cle as they typically do. i know that smith will more than likely be a non factor but i like me some marlon brown and think he will catch a td this week but the driving force gonna be ray rice and the ultimate difference in a tough defensive battle is gonna be the fact balty is the best red zone defense in the league allowing teams to get 7 on only 26% of their red zone opportunities (a stat that they were also number 1 in last season) while cle is among the worst in the league with teams punching it in from close over 65% of the time.. sure browns may hit a big one to gordon but you will see a lot more 3 and outs with campbell checking down or taking sacks on 3rd and long as ravens come out of the bye and get a win they have to have against a team they beat over and over, maybe most have given up on this team for the season and while i think at best they a fringe playoff team who wont go far if they get in i know they believe they are a playoff team and the defending champs will come out and play like it sunday.... 24-14 ravensOriginally Posted by 2daBank

pit +7 -120 (1.5x)..really like the steelers here,, may be sounding like a broken record by now but since pats lost wilfork, mayo, and kelly they been getting tuned up for over 150 per game on the ground, i like the way Bell runs and i think he goes for 100+ easy here and helps pit control the top in this gm.. i guess the big issue here is brady has a history of ripping apart this this pit d but lets be real this aint the same brady and he still not on page with his guys, not to mention he seemed pretty banged up to me.. think this gm is gonna be a flat out slugfest with both teams pounding the rock, pit fighting for their lives here to remain relevant and despite the hiccup in oak (which we kinda expected) they have played much better fb since the bye, mostly cause Bell is a very good rusher and makes this team better all around. pats only converting 32% of their 3rd down chances as brady continues to struggle and the defense has been severely trending down in this category allowing teams to convert 3rd downs 46% of the time their last 3 gms. i think pit will run and run successfully and big dummy will be able to stay in 3rd and manageable where he can check down to miller to keep the sticks moving..pats will have some ground success as well, think we talking pretty low here, like 23 points will be enough to win (maybe even 20) so points are at a big time premium imo.. quite honestly i wouldnt be shocked if pit found a way to win but ill happily take a td in this one.. if we looking for totals to tease dont think it losing if you tease this total to 49 and play under..

talked about the panthers plenty (all year really), i actually think they cover the number but just feel better going this route as sure maybe atl makes a gm out of it but i just see no way no how they come and pull out the W.
far as the total ive been back and forth on whether i preferred lambs teased up or this number teased down and while i think both should be good i made this number 37 and to be honest that felt high to me, i cant find points for shit in this gm. maybe the fact fisher and greg williams know each other so well they can figure out someth9ing that works but this has defensive struggle written all over it with the only scores coming from defense/special teams/ and maybe cj breaks one. i feel like 12-9 wouldnt shock me here. .. of coarse we been going over this the last few weeks where i dont feel comfortable with these low ass numbers with way gm is played and i think this gm be close enough i suppose there a outside shot at a 20-20 score with next fg wins but that my absolute worst case so teasing this number over 45 feels about as good as it gets to me and i liked it better than any other option to pair with panthers in this tease..Comment -

jets+7 -130 (1x)..could have got at -120 last night, was trying to get the 7 w/o more than -110 and now im paying -130, not a fan of doing this but dont what more i can say than had my heart set on getting a td here..ive discussed this gm plenty, i think you gotta expect jets d to show a lot more heart this week after being embarrassed by andy fukkin dalton, i know you could say "hey, look what dalton did to them" and you be right but the nfl is a week to week league and the more you worry bout what happened the week before the worse off you will be.. jets are more vulnerable to the pass than in years past but i like their front and think passing may be little tougher today in windy and chilly conditions in the meadowlands.. all i need is jets d to hold up early and give them time to establish the run game on offense as you can beat the saints at the point of attack which plays right into the hands of how rex likes to play fb anyways. i think jets run it 50x today and control this gm at the line of scrimmage. could it get away? it certainly possible, saints are very good but think jets are game and rex will have the formula to keep it close in what will prob turn out to be a saints win but not by as many points as we getting here..Comment -

#1115lots of leans, just not real comfortable with them as i think most the totals this week are pretty good numbers, for them not me. really angry at myself for letting that dal line take off w/o getting on that over now as i dont see a ton else i like...if you can get 44 i think under in the pit/pats gm is reasonable as i expect both teams to run a ton, just not a huge fan of side and total in same gm.. just got back home and i see i was smart to wait on skins/sd anything under 49 i lean over there, still not sure if it might not be better to wait and possibly play this one live if it starts slow or simply second half? think both teams will move the ball well in this gm, just worry about length of times of the drives, lot less worried with a 48.5 tho than i was 51..Comment -

jets+7 -130 (1x)..could have got at -120 last night, was trying to get the 7 w/o more than -110 and now im paying -130, not a fan of doing this but dont what more i can say than had my heart set on getting a td here..ive discussed this gm plenty, i think you gotta expect jets d to show a lot more heart this week after being embarrassed by andy fukkin dalton, i know you could say "hey, look what dalton did to them" and you be right but the nfl is a week to week league and the more you worry bout what happened the week before the worse off you will be.. jets are more vulnerable to the pass than in years past but i like their front and think passing may be little tougher today in windy and chilly conditions in the meadowlands.. all i need is jets d to hold up early and give them time to establish the run game on offense as you can beat the saints at the point of attack which plays right into the hands of how rex likes to play fb anyways. i think jets run it 50x today and control this gm at the line of scrimmage. could it get away? it certainly possible, saints are very good but think jets are game and rex will have the formula to keep it close in what will prob turn out to be a saints win but not by as many points as we getting here..
titans/lambs 1st half under 20-105 (1x)...discussed plenty i think..Comment -

#1118i do lean over in washington but kept getting stuck on the fact there very well could be a lot of rushing in this gm.. kinda have the idea in my head to wait on this one till halftime or live and see if it does maybe start slow i can get a better number... basically same range as you on dal gm, again just mad at myself cause i knew thu i liked this over, just didnt wanna bet till i actually did the number..
i know im retarded but i have it in my head jets can beat saints today.. i doubt it happens just keeps creeping in my head and i do like the jets with the points so i mean lets hope saints win by 4 as that bout where i put number..
i cant argue fading kc here, i would have been with thad lewis at qb, and maybe it shouldnt matter but it was enough for me to leave alone, i dont think snow would really effect kc that negatively, not like they some warm weather dome team and their style certainly isnt that of one..
With respect to KC/Bills weather, agree that KC isn't type of team to be much affected by snow. I more meant that relative to most NFL teams, Bills actually have a decent home field advantage. I was there for a Browns game in the snow and the place was crazy, like terrordome or something. i was bleeding out of my ear when i walked out, that place is rough. i don't have numbers to bear out any particular adjustment, just know i respect Bills HFA in snow i guess heh heh. Anyway, i think Alex Smith struggles today. BOL Bank.Comment -

lots of leans, just not real comfortable with them as i think most the totals this week are pretty good numbers, for them not me. really angry at myself for letting that dal line take off w/o getting on that over now as i dont see a ton else i like...if you can get 44 i think under in the pit/pats gm is reasonable as i expect both teams to run a ton, just not a huge fan of side and total in same gm.. just got back home and i see i was smart to wait on skins/sd anything under 49 i lean over there, still not sure if it might not be better to wait and possibly play this one live if it starts slow or simply second half? think both teams will move the ball well in this gm, just worry about length of times of the drives, lot less worried with a 48.5 tho than i was 51..Comment -
