Two games below .500 on the two systems for day one. The third system that I said I was dropping before the games started went 2 games below .500 as well (10-12-0). Platinum Sides 1-3-0 Consensus Totals 3-3-1

Balls, Tenn Tech and Drexel both covered, so platinum sides had at least 2 wins.

where did u find this system? it sounds really complicated so i dont need all details but just wondering about what's going on in the system.

My Plats yesterday went 7-4-1. Two in the W column were Drexel and Tenn Tech, where our Plats agreed.
Todays Plat picks on this short schedule are only Minnesota and New Mexico. Road dogs again. Lucky coincidence?

But I fear Purdue in West Lafayette over anyone lately.

My Platinum totals went 3-1 and my side possible (9-4) and strong (2-1) plays did really well too. The platinum sides were about the only ones that lost (of course).


You can feel free to post your platinum sides (or any others) in here if you want. Like I said, I like having two different systems that agree on plays and we are using totally different formulas etc...


We may need to get together one day and discuss how to best use the software...

I just copied and pasted from the software. I guess i need to manually do it or at least double check the results when I post them. Without looking, I am guessing the line changed or something on one of those to make it a loss with the new line in the software.?.?

It's really not complicated. The software does all of the work after you setup your formulas. They don't really give all of the details on how they do it, but you can see most of the parameters in the software. In other words, they have a secret ingredient in the software that you don't see.

I double checked. The closing line won at 4.5, but the posted play lost at 3.5 so it is still a loss for the records on here.


That was actually one of my plays. Fortunately, I played it after work when it was up to 4.5.

I research every game before I play it. I just use these as an additional tool. I do not blindly follow except every now and then when I don't have time to cap or am too tired or whatever.

I usually make every play the same size, but will sometimes make bigger plays if I really like a play.


These are off to a slow start so far since I started posting them. I figured it would be like that, lol. That is the way it always goes.

Hopefully they will kick in gear before long.

Some of those platinum side lines are off.

Are they off from the opening line? Hopefully by not much.

I let the program get those lines by clicking a download from internet button. I have been manually entering the totals because the software gets the totals way too late.


I may need to manually enter the side lines as well. I did that for football, but it is so much easier to click the button I haven't done it for the sides in hoops.

I need to find out where the software gets their lines from.I think it is from covers or somewhere like that.

I will try to manually do the lines for sides for tomorrow.

LOL, there were those beers I was talking about. I knew something wasn't right. I played E KY, but had Jack St in the platinum plays so I actually did have a winning day with the platinum picks. I made a slight change to the Platinum side plays, but for today I am leaving the totals alone since there are only 4 plays. There would be 3 plays today with the change I was going to make. However, looking at the numbers it looks like on most days and overall the change would produce more plays and that is the opposite of what I want so I am going to think about what I want to do a bit more before I change anything.
