Nah. doubledime is your guy for baseball totals. I may do a college football thread next season. If so, it will probably focus on sides and not totals. I like baseball betting but I'm usually too burned out after basketball season to dedicate much energy to it.

Absolutely brutal loss in the late game. They had 69 at the half and proceeded to score just 7 points in the first 7 minutes of the second half. Jackson St. was 1-16 from three and 22-39 from the FT line. The play lost by 2.

Another rough ending to the night. Fortunately, I was playing poker with friends and didn't really pay attention. Looking back at the Kent/EMU game, Kent went into the game averaging 9 made threes per game on 35.7% shooting. EMU was allowing 9 made threes per game on 34.4% shooting. Kent made just 5-13 (16.1%) from three. I try not to bitch too much about outcomes because it largely evens out, but it's a little hard to swallow when teams are off of their averages by 50% or more. Kent shot 29% for the game overall. Just dumb.

Tell me about it. Had Col St/UNLV Over 146 late last night and it was 51-29 UNLV at half, but they couldn't get 60 combined in the 2H for some reason? Had a bunch of those like that this year? Makes me think that I should play 1H Overs instead, but then I'm hitting over 50% and many of those have slow 1st halves like Purdue/Wisconsin last night. Strange?

You probably know that halftime totals are generally set to be 10 points lower than the implied total (i.e., a 140 game total will typically have a first half total of 65 or so). I haven't tracked it, but anecdotally I have seen more reverse splits (where the first half is higher scoring than the second) this season than any time I can remember. I'd be curious to know what the season stats look like on 1H and 2H over/unders.

That was a weird night. Scoring basically stopped in the last 5 minutes of regulation in the Greensboro game (6 points in the last 5 minutes). Then we got to overtime where they scored 40. In New Orleans SMU and Tulane combined for a 50 point first half and a 100 point second half. We got the over despite 6-36 shooting from three by SMU. Weird.
