South Dakota st +4.5.. superior more battle tested team catching points here. They have bigs who can step out and make shots which should draw buffs rim protectors out away from the basket. Biggest thing here is the jackrabbits havd beaten teams equally or more talented than buffs while Rada has mainly only beaten lesser teams and lost to the quality teams they have faced. I like jackrabbits to win straight up but I'll happily take the points.Comment -
Looking at the under in creighton but no rush as it appears to continually being bet up.,I guess I understand folks betting the total up as they looking at blue jays ability to hang a huge number and how awful eastern shore's defense is and thinking over I suppose. Thing is eastern shore plays incredibly slow and this gonna be a blowout of epic proportions as you can tell by the spread and most i respect willing to lay the huge number. No doubt jays will hang 90-100 here, I tend to lean them staying under 100 because the combination of eastern shore's deliberate style taking 20 plus seconds off the clock every possession and simple fact the last 4 minutes I would expect jays to join along in taking the air out the ball.
For arguments sake let's give jays 95 which 3 points higher than KP gives them. That would mean the hawks have to score 62 to push this over the current total of 156. Of hawks 11 games they have managed to score more than 61 a grand total of 3 times! And the 3 games they eclipsed this number? One was against a div 2 squad and the other 2 were against teams ranked around 300!! Of the teams hawks have played in top 100 they only eclipsed 50 points once as they managed 57 vs a crappy gtown squad. 5x they have failed to reach 50 including their last 2!! Jays pace and defensive numbers are very comparable to virgina tech who held hawks to 40!! Honestly feel like this total about 10 points high as 95-50 seems about right. That gives us quite a bit of room even if creighton decides to continue pouring it on late!!Comment -

That how it went down huh? I saw they were up 7ish and thought we were gonna be ok. Walk in door and double ot was getting ready to start. Pretty much figured we were sunk. Say it all the time but I'll say it again, nothing worse than ot losses on dog or under, it one thing to lose games im simply wrong about, shit it happens. But losing games that were capped properly and are winning after 40 minutes a real kick in the nuts!!!Comment -

Unc green/NCst over 144.. feel like talking bout this one real quick cause little outside the box'ish.. don't love the early start times for overs but think the styles here set up nicely to get us a higher score and potentially quicker pace than suggested by number.,
kinda talked about this some when Wolfpack played that island tourney and were facing a grind it out n.iowa squad. NCst needs certain things to generate offense, mainly they need transition and to get to the FT line. In this case Greensboro makes for a good matchup for them as they shoot a ton of jumpers and other than turnovers nothing sets up a team to run like long rebounds on missed 3's. Speaking of turnovers the Spartans are a little loose with the ball and pack very good at generating them. So both the things Wolfpack need to get them out into transition should be very prevalent in this game. Which leads us to Wolfpacks other form of offense and that their ability to get free trips to charity stripe. Again Greensboro sets up well for them as teams get 25.7% of their offense against these guys from the stripe as they foul a lot! That makes for a lot of points while the clock isn't moving which obviously great for our purposes.
A slower paced but in some ways similar wake team put up 81 on this Greensboro squad and I expect Wolfpack to be right around that number here if not a little higher. For arguments sake let's stick with the low side considering pack been off a week and the early start (although that less a issue when a team not jump shot reliant imo). So that leaves us needing 64ish from the Spartans. A number ncst has only held 1 opponent under all season! A ridiculously bad Charleston southern team. Not only do pack struggle with defense they also while drawing lots of fouls commit more than their fair share of their own. If the spread to be believed and this anywhere close to the number expect Greensboro to more than likely approach 70. I feel there a solid 6-7 points of value in this number so well worth a play.Comment -

Here a list of teams cats have beaten at home by 10 or less, Utah valley by 10, Vermont by 4, Troy by 8, Harvard by 9.. I know all those but Vermont cover this number but Hokies a big step up in class from those squads. Think Hokies present some problems here and will have a shot to pull the upset.Comment -
