oops, minor error on Army/BU, should be 147-149. Actually may play that one. not normally a conference that i follow, but nice value there based upon my numbers. also the potential for excessive FTs at this line in elimination game (if BU up by multiple possessions in final 2 minutes). taking a closer look now.

Not as crazy about Temple/USF. Temple might be an over team but USF is a big-time under team.

i'm not really inclined to go back and compile all of the numbers, but i think that i tend to do better on totals. i do much better on MLB totals than sides. here, i should've played 1H under, which was easy winner. in their last meeting, the game went under despite going to OT. i thought that NU would keep it close and play pretty well. not sure how to handicap Purdue not showing up until the final 10 minutes, which was really the culprit here. if this had been a one- or two-possession game in the final two minutes, it would've been fine. Purdue fouling to extend the game with three minutes left was the problem. bunch of gutless, poorly-coached penetrates, i say.

Was watching that and feeling really bad for any OSU backers. That sucks, pal.

Craft's dive to the floor at the end was a great teaching moment for my daughter (was watching that, and more importantly, TRIBE with her). She's in 6-7 year-old hoops, her first year, and they gave her #4. I told her that she should play like Aaron Craft (also #4), to grab the ball and make it hers. When he dove on the floor to take the board away from Payne, i turned to her and said, "See?" Her response: "Yes. But that was like a football dive and I don't want to hurt my face." Obviously, I still have some work to do...

They were looking pretty good for awhile there, Rick. UNL has unreal and underrated home court advantage. Only one home loss this season, and that was to UM by 1. In the end, the fact that they needed this win so much more won out over Wisky's superior talent.

T-minus 20 hours and counting until the CAA tourney final. Doubt that i'll bet on it, but will have Tribe huge on the emotional ML. Delaware is a tough match-up for the Tribe (difficult to stop five solid scorers when you struggle to get stops period; if Delaware starts piling up the fouls, Tribe has no interior depth). That said, a third conference tourney final in seven years is a true accomplishment for Shaver and the program, and the prospect of a shot at finally advancing to the Big Dance is going to have me counting the minutes until tomorrow night. Go Tribe!
