You're right--that is 3 losers in a row for me--Syracuse,Ohio St., and Michigan.

I'm just starting out---I have a small bank roll (5k) what should I be dropping per play? So far I've been going with 500 per play. Is that too high?

yes...too high...should never go over 5% per play and personally on sec h plays I wouldn't go higher than 2.5% per play unless you really feel strong about a sec h play to make it 5%...also, I wouldn't bet higher then 50% of your entire bankroll spread over an entire card...if you have 5K than no more than 2500...1k no more than 500...you will keep that bank roll longer if you stay consistant with money management

I'd drop it to $200 per play. $500 with $5k bankroll, you can get snapped on one saturday!

Yea I'm def going to drop it to 200-250. I hit a run over the weekend and got stupid since. what is realistic to grow your bankroll

I would roll between 100-250 per play with your bankroll...when you're cold take it down a notch...don't chase...

I really like Drake and Illinois St tonite...Drake got totally embarrassed last game and come in having lost two in a row and Illinois St has everyone healthy for this game as Oguchi had a bad back at Bradley and Eldridge the flu at Indiana State in their two losses.

Fridays plays...really like Rider +6.5 after seeing the following reguarding Fairfield' injuries to 3 starters... one being their leading scorer Nero.....

The schedule says Rider is in town at Alumni Hall, but the Fairfield men have a bigger obstacle to overcome before they even take the floor tonight -- being able to fill out a lineup.
Injuries to four players, including three starters, has left the Stags (12-7, 5-3 MAAC) scrambling for bodies in practice this week.
Senior guard Herbie Allen (wrist) and reserve sophomore forward Sean Grzek (mono) are expected to miss the game against Rider (9-8, 4-3).
Junior forward Greg Nero (back) and sophomore forward Warren Edney (ankle, Achilles) are questionable, which means three new starters could be in the lineup.
"We are really banged up right now," coach Ed Cooley said. "But we have to weather the storm."
Allen injured his left wrist after falling on Siena's Alex Franklin in the first half of a 78-62 loss to the Saints last Saturday. He returned to the game and played in the second half, but has had trouble practicing this week.
Allen had an X-ray and an MRI on the wrist (both were negative), but Cooley is not expecting him to play tonight. Without Allen, either sophomore Lyndon Jordan or freshman Sean Crawford figures to draw the start.
Crawford has played well in spurts at both ends of the floor, but has also resembled a first-year player other times.
"We are anxiously waiting for the (entire) light bulb to go on," Cooley said. "It's flickering now."
Sophomore Yorel Hawkins figures to again start in place of Edney, who continues to struggle with a high ankle sprain. Hawkins has started the past six games, averaging 9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.

Nero, who has been the Stags' leading scorer with 13.8 ppg, hurt his back in a fall at Saint Peter's last week, but played 29 minutes against Siena. Cooley said his back was an issue during practice this week though, leaving his status in doubt.
