Forget the last shot phantom calls were rampant the last 3 minutes 4/1 in Arz favor to my eyes and I was an impartial viewer. Wifey heard complaining and looked up when it was 4-0 phantom in favor of Arz and saw the phantom Col one. She said "I see what you mean" and I said "no that must be one of the ref's realizing the travesty of what was happening and trying to balance things". ouch, don't like being opposite you here Madison, but Bank nailed a bit part of why i like this play: Vols have been tough at home, Tigers first true road test, not big fan of Memphis generally.
also Vols are excellent defensively, Tarik Black out for Memphis. Memphis' best traits are offensive boards (often converted into easy buckets) and causing turnovers. UT is great at controlling its defensive glass, and coupled with absence of Tarik Black, i think that UT is able to limit easy chances; UT also doesn't turn the ball over much, which will further limit the easy buckets for Memphis. bottomline: i think that points will be at a premium for Tigers tonight and Vols pull away by 7-9 with FTs at the end. What we've seen from Tenn has been heavily skewed to their home court and any opponent I'm aware of that even pretended to play D they were abysmal offensively.
