Those of us who have been contributing to this thread this season and in previous seasons, will know that I'm a fervent supporter of the systems and I don't like "off-topic" discussions. So, while there might some merit in analysing (or handicapping) some of the system picks, I do not believe it should be done in this particular thread. This is the thread for posting the plays, recording the results and discussing trends and betting options. Discussing filters is clearly acceptable, although we are not all in agreement about which ones are valid.
So, why did I post my analysis of the Boston game? Although it was my personal problem, my BR would have taken a big hit if they lost, and I was looking for something beyond simple stats to give me the confidence to play that D bet.
What if my research came out with the other result? No D bet and ultimately a significant losss that should have been avoided.
So, apologies, guys, for going off topic.
The real point of this post and the other one is to highlight the fact that the system stood up when it was needed. No game stat analysis was required.

We will ALWAYS play the M/L on favorites and the point spread (-110) on dogs. The team underlined and highlighted blue is the play. There is no point buying in this system, with one exception, if your team is the favorite, and buying down to a (-½) point spread is cheaper than playing the M/L, then by all means, buy the points, otherwise, M/L on all favorites and point spread on dogs. All results will be based on this principle. All lines and standings are based on FINAL lines from ScoresandOdds.com/. If one of the teams we are playing switches from a favorite to a dog, after my initial post, make sure you get the appropriate line if it differs from what I have posted. The wins and losses will be based on who is the dog team, and who is the favorite on ScoresandOdds.com/ final lines. I will try to update my post as often as I can throughout the day, if the lines change. However, it is the individual bettor’s responsibility to get the appropriate line if it differs from the line in my post.

According to the spreadsheet, that we are supposed to go by, we have a V2 B bet for Sacramento. There isn't a V1 A bet for any team until 2/8 with New Orleans. The last V1 play was the Indiana series starting 1/21 (besides the current GSW series finishing up tonight). I'm confused. I believe JMD has it right, as that is what I have. I put my wagers in way before Steve posts.Comment -
I posted it yesterday. The road trip started in-conference. They lost the in-conference game(s) by more than 3 points to the spread, therefore, the remainder of the road trip becomes an additional v1 play. Read the .pdf and you will see that I understand the system better than JMD apparently. There is more to this system than a posted play sheet.Comment -
I see it now. It was in the middle of a bunch of bickering and sniping that I tend to skim through. I'm trying to backtest a couple of things, and I admit that I don't know JM, yours or stifler's systems fully. When I have time over the summer, I will fully digest these systems...just ain't got the time now.Comment -
Who here actually plays by the official rules? ML filter, injury filter, v1, v2, v3 filter... no one here cares about the official rules since 7/5 or 1-3-5 or labby was back tested via these rules. You can be all technical about in conference or out of conference but doubt anyone gives a shit.Comment -

They do give a shit about extra plays because they mentioned it before and asked me to post these series when they come up, so go screw yourself. It has nothing to do with a filter, but rather a qualification for a new play in the system. It doesn't matter if YOU like it or don't like it, it's how it is. I got my extra unit tonight, hopefully knugen did too.Comment -

I generally place my bets on 7/5 (the only system I play in here) prior to TheLimit's post, but I still give points here and there.
And, it's really not relevant -- this is not a capping thread even if it's the best capper in the world, so that doesn't belong here, like I said. My post wasn't aggressive in any way, so your post really doesn't make sense with the "ez skippys" and negative tone.Comment
