Aussies won straight up. Game had meaning for both. I thought the line was inflated a few points because of Russia's win over Spain.

Win keeps Aussies from playing the US in KO stages. Not sure how why you think Russia would have been guaranteed a silver? Win would have put them thru top in the group, but there are no guarantees once the KO stage begins!

Actually the game meant nothing, Aussies still play the USA and lose by 50

Yeah you are right on where the Aussies finish. Regardless, a win is a win. I just thought Russia was inflated for the Spain win. Looking only @ 2nd half for this next one.

Yeah I screwed up, thought Russia needed to win to keep the #1 spot. I still think they are the second best team and will meet the U.S. in the gold medal game. Who will they have to go through? Spain or Brazil, we can bet on that later.

Yeah i am not sure. Russia has played three buzzer beater type games in their group. They are a shot or two away from having three losses. I think it is wide open after the US for medals.

It didn't look like the Russia players care though. Lithuania needs to win. Hopefully they can get Mezri and Benrammadon or whatever his name is in more foul trouble. Think they come out firing in the 2nd.

Very unlucky on the France tt EP........any reason why the USA game doesn't go over 186?......Argentina don't play any D whatsoever......only concern is if iggy gets too much game time, why is he even in that side.

Oh and I follow the sixers by the way, even turner is way more clutch than him and will become the franchise player I beleive.

I read an article about this game. The winner of this game will be 2nd and face Argentina next. Then, USA probably in the Semis. The loser will face France next and probably Russia in the Semis. Thus, the loser of this game will avoid USA until the gold-medal matchup.
