Obviously no one will expect Team USA to repeat their historic performance against Nigeria with 156 points. Lithuania likely will play a little better defense and by a little better, I mean maybe actually have someone near a shooter. Still, the Lithuanians aren't exactly a clamp down defense team. They were riddled by Argentina to open pool play for 102 points. They also gave up 82 to France, eleven better than the French have done in either of their other games. And in the build-up to London, Russia torched them for 101. They have had trouble giving up points to the dynamic guards on these teams, allowing France + Argentina to both shoot over 54% from two point range. Argentina rained down 11 threes on Lithuania. Team USA is shooting 67% from two point range & 49% from three. It is all about starting fast for Team USA. When they are engaged to open, we saw what happened.

2nd half lines have been pretty on the ball today, so nothing much to choose from. Will go for this in the last one.

Argentina Team Total Over 87.5 [-110]
Argentina has been on fire in two of their three group games with 102 against Lithuania & 92 against Tunisia. They draw Nigeria today who were on the wrong end of the epic beating from Team USA. I watched a good portion of that game and it wasn't just stellar offense - it was some of the most non-chalant defense I have seen from Nigeria. They have had their issues against dynamic offenses and they face another one today. If they leave shooters open like they did against the US, Argentina has a chance to drop a 100 on them.

Shouldn't be a problem cruising in the 2nd half to finish this one off. Again, the 2nd half line doesn't offer anything useful to me. The total is adjusted for the outburst in the 1st half and even though the # of possessions was 76 ... I can't see advising trying an under with this piss poor D that Nigeria has.

If you could explain why Australia +7.5. Ive watched both teams a lot and I don't think they have enough to hang with Russia. Also adding this game is huge for Russia since they will basicly be getting themselves a silver medal by winning.
