I would just like to point out that this money management strategy is just as a parlay. The advantage is you can carry over into future days. If you got a few plays on the same day, you might as well throw them into a parlay. You can carry over the winnings into the future from that point on.

You don't need to wait for a game to finish to hop onto the next.

I know this, I just like taking my time with the picks and do one at a time. I think it pays off in the end.

On the Michigan play! A little worried, because this time Michigan doesn't have Branden Dawson, as he is injured, and a lot of MSU fans think it might take them a bit of time to get going with the proper line up in today's game. Hopefully they click right off the start. Let's go Michigan!

Let's say you bet North Carolina 1st half -600 and you win........now your balance is $116.67
Now you bet $116.67 on Michigan st 1st half -335 and you win.......now your balance is $151.50

IF you parlay these 2 at $100 you get the same amount.

If you liked both of these games you should have parlayed them, as a matter of fact you could add the whole days worth.

I said in my "rules" I wasn't doing anything juiced over -600. And I know how parlays work.

I am not trying to insult anyone. It just seems that you and the followers think you have to wait for one game to finish before you play the next. You even said yourself that you would play North Carolina 1st half if it weren't at the same time as Michigan st. 1st half.

I'd figure I remind everyone that this strategy is essentially a parlay that's all. I like that you can carry over winnings to future days---that's the advantage.

I didn't say I wanted to do North Carolina but couldn't because of the time issue. I didn't do Carolina because their juice is -600, which is way too low.

It looks like you implied both time and juice as a problem. Either way, in previous posts, the overall impression is you have to wait for one game to finish before moving on to the next. I just wanted to make the point for everybody's sake.

I was stating I would have chosen MSU over any other game on the day other than UNC. And since UNC is over-juiced, I went with MSU instead. Not a big deal. Let's win some money today.

I think the way mcduggly is doing it, is perfect. I like taking it game by game, doing a breakdown, and watching our results, instead of making 1 big parlay. We all know the odds are the same, if were doing game by game, or 1 huge parlay, but that's not the point of the system, as far as I understand it from mcduggly.

Why fix something that isn't broken? We went 8 for 8 on the last attempt, going game by game. Let's keep it going!

Dawson only scored 6 points in the entire game the first time they played, so his injury wasn't a big issue to me, and I still feel extremely comfortable about this pick. Definitely appreciate the input though.

I figured people would like going 1 game at a time and getting a little report on why I chose each pick so you guys feel more comfortable tailing. I know I wouldn't tail someone if they just posted their plays.

And by no means am I bashing you, Keel, just trying to explain why I do things in this thread.

I will be honest, when I first heard about this strategy, I didn't even consider the payouts to be the same as a parlay. I later realized that it was the same after I fooled around with the parlay calculator. I thought this realization could come in handy because you could go for 2 or more at the same time if you wanted. I figured I would share that point to everybody.

First few times 5 teams, this time 10 (9 open). Just a little easier to keep track, as mcdug's not my only play. Lose the ability to bail at any time, but that's okay. Makes me focus!

I was going to do Kentucky over whoever they were playing in the first 10 minutes at -500, but I noticed a lot of people here aren't using 5dimes, so I tried making either a game play or a half play and liked this one the best out of the early games. There really isn't that much going on this afternoon. The spread was originally Florida -3.5, but I bought points until I reached the -400 mark. I liked them even minus the points, and placed a side bet on that this morning, so we have some added value here with this play for sure.

so if we are using 5dimes would you recommend kentuky first 10 min???? im not feeling great about this pick and would feel much more comfortable betting Kentucky
