One bet for me tonight so far.

I have decided to follow up my lean and go with Ray Allen over 15 points for 1 unit at +106

Allen has been playing well recently, scoring 22, 17 and 15 in his last three games. GS give up a a lot of 3 pointers and I expect Allen to hit at least two tonight. Monta Ellis has been traded so Allen will be guarded by the rookie Klay Thompson. Allen is a fantastic FT shooter and that is always a plus when going for a points prop, I think Allen gets close to 20 tonight in a Boston win.

Wall played the entire second half I believe.

im looking over gortat, nash, and thorton right now, but havent taken any yet...lots of +options tonight...also most teams playing 3/4 days in this stretch too, which can always screw me on minutes played..

I don't really see anything else I like. I sometimes play college spreads but rarely and haven't played a college prop yet, don't know enough about the players. I follow the NBA much more

oh i agree...i rarely bet games on either nba or ncaa...but i do actually watch a tourney game here and there

I've been reading this thread. And im pretty impressed, I've never bet on player props so I have a few questions, Is there a Science? Is it easier than other methods?

i think the few regulars in the thread actually propbably have different techniques to their picks they make....

for me keep in mind i never pay juice on my props, only +100 and worse, now that just me...some people that may not even be a factor...also im not even a big NBA fan and dont usually ever even watch the games...i go purely off past data, last 10 games stats for the players, and matchups for the night....and the odds being +100 and worse are also a must like i said for me, that goes for nba or cbb props...i also rarely pick any game lines, so im totally focused on props when i bet basketball, in NBA and cbb

overall for me anyways, the recent performance over last 5-10 games and the value of the prop are my main 2 components in the props i bet

Les Nuts is also very good at spotting great values props, so when he reads ur question, he probably has different ways he picks his valued props than i do...hes also good at spotting matchups that favor a prop too.....i would take his advice as well and see what works for u best..

Ray Allen was disappointing only hitting 2-7 and a total 7 points including 0 in the 2nd half.
With regards to the question I mostly make my picks based on a combination of matchups, stats, situational factors(motivation, rest, form etc) and price. Probably in that order of importance. I don't place as much emphasis on price as Mike but recently the majority of mine has been +100 or better and a few -110 or -105. Mike is having a great season and turning nice profits because of his discipline on price and is definitely worth following for props, GL in your future prop bets

Haven't looked much at the games tonight as I have been wrapped up in Horse Racing today. I have an early play of Al Jefferson over 9.5 rebounds at +116. This is great value as big Al only played 28mins tonight so should get a heavier workload tonight. In both meetings with Minnesota this year he has 23 rebounds combined and I can see him having a good game today. I am playing this for 1 unit.

Like the Jefferson pick; not up yet @ 5Ds. Only thing I don't like about them, they seem to post their prop lines (among others) later than Pinny, etc. A lot of times I pass as the price has gone up. Happens with hockey lines too. Good luck tonite.

Dwight Howard rebounds OVER 15.5 (+100)

really justsaw this at +100 and grabbed it...he has played the nets 2 times this season so far and had 24 and 17 rebounds in those 2 games...also had last night off so he may be a monster tonight after pressure off about getting traded and all that...if i see anything else ill post it up

I liked the play before the match and almost played it too but feared a blowout would ruin it. I'm rooting for an 11 rebound 4th though lol!

I had a strong lean to Tony Parker over 22 points at +122, great price and vs Westbrook in what should be a high scoring game. Also the fact that Parker has never lost me a prop. Decided against playing it tonight and I am just enjoying the games

Not a great play by me. Should of realized it was a trap when line was at 14.5 when Dwight has been red hot on the boards and has killed Miami for rebounds this year.

Gonna do some research into games tomorrow and hopefully find some value

ive been on the ncaa props last few days..having a great start to the +props in the touney..i like ncaa becuase you never have to worry about playing time..

but im going to look tonight and will play if i see anything juicy

I got 2 plays on tonight:

Dirk Nowitzki over 22.5 at -110. He has played well vs Lakers recently and I think he has a big game tonight on national tv. Playing this for 2units.

Andrew Bynum over 17 points at -105. He matches up well vs Dallas and has scored over this in the two games this year. Only played 23 minutes last night and looked deadly early on before being rested, clearly lakers were saving him for tonight. Playing this for 2units aswell

i havent played anything all week...just took a few days off after a big weekend...ill be playing ncaa +props next few days for sure, and will look over the NBA +props too just to check and see if anything good pops out at me...ncaa +props have just been great all year for me and have been so far in tourney too
