i was waiting and took Spain at the half at -9,5. Got lucky i guess. Strange non-calls by the officials. This should have be a cover, but no fouls for FYROM, so no free throws in the end.

Almost a week before Eurobasket 2011 and i will make some early picks,

I believe that Italian squad has potential this year. They have an experienced head coach and the NBAers can push the others to achieve something really good! On the other hand, Turkish national team will fight for the 3rd place of Group A and this "HEAD to HEAD" will be really interesting, later at Group E.
I bet on Italy to reach further than Turkey this year.

France is among the favourites once again, but nobody really believes that this team can take the crown. They are kind of losers, thinking of recent tournaments' performances, but there is always hope to do something special. I guess they are ready to challenge big teams like Spain, Lithuania and Serbia and keep it close till the end, even if they cannot taste the success. If you take a look at your sportsbook you might find this "Head to Head" option. France is better than the Germans and i have no doubt, that they will reach late stages of this tournament. Of course Dirk "champion" Nowitzki is a huge wall to overcome, but i cannot see it happens... you know what i am talking about.

I had watched the whole game and at odd with the fact that FYROM shot collectively around 60% FG, that's unbelievable, but hit only 59% at the FT lines. Bo McCalebb was like chris Paul with off the glass teardrop & Pero Antic is abit like Carlos Boozer or what? these guys sure have some range
spain had made so many sloppy turn overs but put up a decent interior rebounds, very poor low post defensively today; this had at least 16 points swing in itself.

that kid Bo McCalebb is something, he is with Montepaschi Siena I'll be looking out for their upcoming euroleague season

I hope you right, france were badly struggled at the pressure imposed by greece in the last one; against Russia will set to go worse, these guys will wear you flat out. For France to do well they need their back court to generate offense and aggressive attack; this is where Russian are weak & mismatch and if they can contain A. Kirilenko this too will help
