I'm really liking minnesota tonight. Sacramento doesn't get up for games against small name teams. Especially with minne wanting to bounce back tonight after the loss at LA. what do you guys think? huge public play but i think it's the right play.Comment -

think if the line moves to cincy +3, pull the trigger. will likely see some more 2-3 zone from the bearcats which will give fsu some problems... keep gates out of foul trouble against a bigger fsu frontcourt as well as force fsu to execute offensively. fast break points off turnovers will be huge for cincy.
if bearcats can knock down their open looks from 3 and have 8-10 pts off of turnovers, i expect cincy to win this straight up by 5-6.
regardless, +3 should at least be a one unit play.Comment -
I lean SAC. Minny has won 2/4 so far this year. The over 211 looks more appealing to me because both teams have been avg around 100 in recent games. In the first two match ups this year the totals were 197 and 197.5. This time it was 209 and jumped to 211
Why is the total 14pts higher than before?

This one just steamed up and I was able to get 191. At best I thought I could get 190 in this game, so once I was able to get 191 I had to make this a 1.5x play. I have this game set at 187 giving us 4 full points of value. I will get you a full writeup later as I need to watch the lines now, but I view this as a very strong play at this number and I am rolling for the under for 1x. Good luck.

Pinny just juiced the +2 at -115 and my local went from 2.5 to 3. I have been debating this play all day, but I have to take the 3 points here. I have provided all my thoughts on this game in my posts above and my model has this game set at +1.5. I think the Cavs will play with more effort than the Hawks and I am rolling with Cleveland at home for 1x. Good luck.Comment -
I think the books definitely expect a high scoring game tonight. However, as we all know, Sacramento's scoring is so unpredictable. Almost invariably every Sacramento over I have bet this year has seen them score at a high rate until the 4th quarter when they can't break 20 points. Case in point, a few days ago against Golden State when I missed cashing by one point because Sacramento didn't score in the final 3 or 4 minutes of the game. I think it will be high scoring, I just don't know if I can trust Sac town again.Comment -

We'll see. That is a concern. But the story so far is that Atlanta is 5-7 from 3pt land and Cleveland is 1-6 from beyond the arc. That is what is separating them. I suspect those numbers will even out and so will the score. Cleveland will make a run. I just hope it's late enough so that Atlanta can't answer back. As long as this is within striking distance at halftime, I think Cleveland is fine. They just need to keep it close and then wait for Atlanta to blow it as they usually do.Comment -

Atlanta shot 58.5% from the field and 66.7% from beyond the arc in the 1h. Now we should see the opposite in the 2h. Let's hope Cleveland can make their shots and widdle down this lead. It's time we're on the opposite side of these types of game and actually cash with a big comeback. This is the NBA after all....Comment -

Cavs are a little teases today. They pull within 8 to close the 3rd quarter and then let Atlanta score the first 6 points of the 4th quarter to obliterate all the work they did chipping away at the lead. Damn it.Comment -

Per previous posts, I always recommend the 2nd half line in favor of the team that is crushing the line at half because the 2nd half line always caters to the team or the side that might want to double up afraid of the middle. And if it's close then put more on the original side or opposite to buy out and the middle usually happens then. I fell into the trap knowing the statistics, since I didn't bet the original bet. I thought +11 was hell of value considering the respect I have for LTA. I should have just laid off knowing my assumption. Oh well, on to the next game.Comment -
