#1405What do you guys think of that Tun\Mor O\U at 136.5 ? Both two vg defensive teams. I see a real struggle to score here but the total is set a little low too.Comment -

#1406i was on -11,5 but still not confident. Low level there, something between basketball, football, cricket, whatever... i am sick of that.
waiting for true basketball at Lithuania, even though 24 teams at a final stage is a joke.Comment -

Phoenix at Conn
Without their prime scorer, Diana Taurasi due to back spasms it will be much tougher for Phx to win on the road against Connecticut with WNBA best-tying 12-2 at home.
Connecticut -5.5

San Antonio at Minn
Minnesota Lynx had locked in a playoff berth, this game could be a meaningless but it could also a play for home court advantage, for all we know this is a tough team to beat anywhere. San Antonio Silver Stars(13-13) is currently on .500 for the first time all year after dropping four in a row and 8 of 10. They are just 1 1/2 games in front of Los Angeles for the final Western Conference playoff spot. But for all we know they have played a very consistent defense in every games.
Under 151.5 Points
________________________
Tulsa at Los Angeles
LA is still in a hunt for a playoff spot, with Tulsa in town to play their back 2 back game this should be a walk in a park for LA to win. Losing 20th in a row would certainly motivate Tulsa to play harder with much pride on the line to stop 21st loss, against LA's poor error and lack execution they might just sweat it out from a double digit loss.
Tulsa +12.5
Under 148.5 Points

#1410I can't decide which side to pick on Saturday. Probably the two best teams in the Eastern conference right now, both coming off decent rest. Indiana is the favorite in power ratings, but the starting match-ups actually favor Atlanta --Indiana has better SG in Douglas, but she has been streaky.Comment -

#1415Dam the book is being a really gay and setting the Indiana line at -6. Thinking Atlanta, but home cooking has being pretty rampant lately, especially at LA and Seattle. Do you think the same would apply at Indiana?Comment -

#1424Actually, yes DR is the one standout, they have 3 good NBA players cover from power to small forwards; A. Horford, C. Villanueva, & F. Garcia. Also I like the under 148.5 as DR is a product of ATL Hawks + Detroit Piss roll into one, a solid interior D team to me.

Australia v New Zealand
This won't be a friendly game as it appears, the Aussie will be enforced their defensive effort and dominate with rebounding.
New Zealand's team is decent in quality to put a good match and keep it close enough, but Australia should win by 8 points.

#1430Mercury at Storm game one
It's crunch time, we're going back in time - conference final 2010
both teams with the same match up but a year older. Both have injuries with their key personnel; but LJ is back in the middle & storm is 99% in full form, seattle has played consistent defense through season long and a solid home record. Whilst Mercury may still have problem with Penny Taylor's back spasms still, but someone will fill some void that we shall see. The key to the storm's sucess is to contain Diana Taurasi's offense through a quick set of transition's defense, control the tempo and execute half court game with shear physical in the post.
Take Storm -5.5

#1431more info here
in the opening days they are usually rust in offense, but anyone play a simple defense through physical one to one by make shoot difficult; a vast majority of players are non pro except very few from here and there;
-team Philippine is drawn from a good pool of some good pro of theircountry
-south korea has an outstanding american player + tall 4 to 5 positions
-japan has some good pro of their country
-Iran has Hamed Haddadi and Jaber Rouzbahani 7"5 whom had score 80+ all by himself in one game a while backComment -

#1434Jordan v Japan
Cant see Japan to score above 70 points against jordan in this game. Jordan consisted of one naturalized 2 guard from the United States - Rasheim WRIGHT whom a high scoring quard, can take it to the hoop & create his own shots; all in all a bit like Allen Iverson with 6"4 frame.
Take Jordan -3.5

Indiana at New York
NY will hang on to this deciding game at home.
New York -3.5
Seattle at Phoenix
Storm will look to close out this series right here right now and they are riding on a good
momentum whilst Mercury is trying to clink on without any home court to hold on to. This will be
their last game of the year. Penny Taylor can't wait for the exit and head off to her next team somewhere in Turkey.
Storm -3.5
