I'm sure the crowd at ** shows varies depending on the market. I went to a Ghostface Killah show a few years ago in Chicago. Crowd seemed majority urban, Black, some Latino, and maybe a few white folk here & there. That Puerto Rican thug Tru Life & his crew was one of the opening acts. The crowd was getting impatient for Ghostface to come on stage (he was taking forever). And they got pissed at Tru when he started performing 9th Wonder produced "New New York". Finally some dude in the crowd chucked a bottle at Tru Life. Tru Life started chucking glass bottles right back and all hell broke loose. Police & security had to clear out the joint for a little while, and the crowd had thinned out significantly. But Ghost still came out & tore it up for those of us that stuck around. This was at Joe's Sports Bar on Weed Street for those of y'all that are familiar with the Chi. Ironically, it's usually not as urban a crowd there if you know what I mean. It's more of a mixed north side crowd (leaning Caucasian) typically. Good times, good times....
Tru Life by the way is now awaiting sentencing I think for murder in NYC a year or two ago.Comment -
