Avon what do you think about the Celtics +2 and Memphis +7?

I liked Memphis (14-5 ATS as an Underdog, 12-5 ATS against +.500 teams, 14-6 ATS against 99 PPG+ teams), but I decided to stay away from it because Memphis is coming in on a 3 game streak on a B2B having just beaten OKC 4 days ago and OKC is coming in off a win at Dallas which will probably get their confidence up. OKC might have revenge on their mind and Memphis may be due for a let down on the road.

I'm not touching the Boston game. Celtics are good as an underdog, but Boston has beaten Chicago twice this year already and the Bulls are coming off of a bad loss. I think Chicago was looking past tonight to the Celtic game and will be ready to take advantage of the KGless Celtics. Also remember that D Rose and Rondo don't like each other so Rose could be up for a big game at home.

The only other play I am planning on making will be Houston 1H which I think will be Rockets -1.5 or -2. This will be a 3 unit play for me.

I will continue to look and see if there is anything I like. I have a couple of leans, but not strong enough to make a play.

Yea and I was 1 RB short of Amares 10 from pushing. I went 5-0 on spreads today. Lost a good amount on that Rebound bull shit. Keep posting your picks I like to see what you like as well as what I do, and to compare them.

Why not? I don't claim to be a top handicapper or even a good one, I just post my picks to keep record and to share my thoughts and opinions. A lot of useful information can be gained by browsing these forums.

Isnt' posting plays, keeping record too consuming for you? I mean it takes hours to calculate record alone... (sarcasm)

Yes, I've had to hire an assistant to do the calculating for me and help spell check. Saves about 6 hours a day.

I don't think you'll need the hook, but I like having the -4 in case of something at the end of the game like what happened in Dallas vs OKC. The Magic have won their last 8 games by at least 8 points and their last loss was to Dallas in Orlando, so I think they might bring it to the Dirkless Mavs.

Only thing that worries me is that Dallas already lost one to okc the other night, they might bring it as well to avoid losing two straight at home, but the way orlandos shooting right now I don't think Dallas can keep up with them especially without dirk and Caron

What can Dallas bring? Brian Cardinal? They simply cannot score enough points without both Dirk and Butler to keep up with Orlando who has been scoring a ton on this 8 game win streak.

Dallas has no go to guy or reliable scorer now. Terry is streaky, Kidd can't shoot, Chandler is good inside, but Orlando has Howard. The Mavs may come out strong for a quarter or a half like they did against the Thunder, but eventually the minute drainage on these guys playing shorthanded so long and the lack of scoring consistency will doom them against a Magic team that has relentless offensive ability and will be seeking revenge for a home loss.

I agree that Orlando has powerful offense. Just would like to add that Orlando defense is veryy underrated. Since november 17th only 3 teams had managed to keep houston under 95 points: bucks, blazers, bobcats (coach Brown) and these 3 are very slow paced teams. Orlando should easily defend Mavericks where they basically don't have player who can create a shot for himself consistently

I like the under in that game better than either side, but I would lean Atlanta if I had to pick. Indiana should have beaten San Antonio, but shot like 1-14 in the 4th quarter. Atlanta is playing better of late, but they are coming home off a long road trip and I am always wary of betting on those teams.
