Im surprised at how un-informed posters in this thread are. Those quoting James' lack of rings are echoing the sentiments of Jordan's biggest critics circa 1990. Those quoting the lack of competition in the 80s do realize that the league had only 22 teams back then right? And they do realize that the league was full of players who left college early and get playing time on potential right?
Lebron is doing things that someone my age has only seen Jordan do. Remember the guy averaged 35 pts 9reb and 7 ast while shooting over 50% for a post season. Those numbers would win MVP in the regular season. He did that against elevated competition.
So now we're going to pretend that Jordan didn't play on a team that would win 50 games a year without him and then compare Jordan's teammates to the current supporting class in Cleveland. We would have to see them play a season without Lebron but my guess is this thread would overwhelming take the under on +-50 wins for Cavaliers in a season without Lebron.
