No Andrew Bynum...Lakers beat the Wizards by 7 in LA without him, and beat the T-Wolves by 8 in LA when he got injured...I'm staying away from it personally, so

Dont worry dude, college is overrated anyways - what are you going to do with a degree? The world economy is crashing -- spend your time canning food and learning how to grow vegatables, it will be cheaper and a lot more beneficial

I beg to differ that the Lakers don't need this game. They will be playing Spurs again next week. Also, the Lakers want to get on a roll heading into the playoffs, especially with Bynum out. Phil will want to push them this time instead of testing them like earlier in the season. Whether the players will follow what Phil wants is another question. This is probably the kind of overthinking that will get me in trouble with playing this game.

I like Utah in Toronto --- Denver keeps losing and Utah has said all along that its the games they dont take seriously that will lose the division higher playoff seed - quote after quote they talk about this - this is a perfect game to prove they are taking this seriously

Indiana at -8.5 seems a bit much but I'm happy with the -6 offered yesterday too

Magic have been dominating Hawks recently 8-2 ats last 10, also Hawks 1-4 ats at home last five vs Magic. Why is the line Hawks -1.5?

maybe as a reverse mind trick to get people to put money on the favorite which is under -2 (how enticing)? Put Magic at -1 which is basically a negligible difference and more money may come in on Magic. When they start factoring in human nature it gets tough to figure out. Just a guess

Guys, Im not worried that the lakers line opened this morning at+2. The spurs just got back from a pretty tough road trip which they played an overtime and a tough game in OKC where the next night. I remember peeps saying that pop would rest Timmy that game but I said they would go all out cuz that was the best chance they had at winning for the next 4 games. Lakers, cavs, and celtics are the next 3 games for the spurs. Pop does not expect them to win all 3 of these games; IMHO. I think they're overreacting to bynums injury here with the unfavorable line movement to the lakers. I'm already 10X deep with +1, might throw some more on +2. I'm from the area guys and the consensus here is that the lakers aren't gonna flip the switch and they're just not that good this year. They will play with a chip on their shoulders tonight. No matter how much the spurs "need" to win tonight, they're tired. Tim looked really bad towers the end of the game in OKC and it doesn't get any easier tonight with gasol and odom. I know a lot of peeps on this thread jumped on the lakers last night and I'm here to say: don't worry about this line movement.

paco, LB i need some advice... spurs have honestly been playing really well right now and some say lakers dont ""need" this game but i honestly think lakers will make an impression on the spurs and show why they are top seed in the west.. bynum never really made a difference its pau that pulls the team together.. my lean right now is lakers and the pts but then when i think about how bad lakers have been doing on the road it pushes me away... thoughts?
