It's just money management. I'm picking winners more than losers, but I went heavy on the Lakers when they got beat by Dallas, and the Pacers twice. Those 3 losses wiped out all my gains. I loved the Hawks ML last night, and the Pacers tonight. Those are the ones I should have gone heavier on. The Hawks were +250 and the Pacers around +195. Ugh!

I have never used your method with this 5.5 fave thing but have you made good $$ with this? Is it profitable? Seems very hard to find 5 games in a single night that you can reasonably cap for 6 point wins. I haven't really researched it though! Seems interesting!

on sunday every fave covered this -5.5 number;; in theory it should be easy;; the trick is to not go to the same well too often like boston today;;
i have dabbled in the past but this is the fiirst time where i will stay at it for a month and see how it goes;;

i am triying to prove to myself that its easier to hit than a regular 4tm parlay cause it usually gives the faves a smaller spread ;;
if i dont hit 1 of these parlays a week than i will scrap it;; but its still early

the other reason i am doing it is i am tired of trying to pick dogs;; if i see a live dog its a no play with this approach
also i usually include faves of -4 to about -12 and adjust the line

another thing this approach is good for is u can prepick the 6 pt winners before the line comes out and sways u off
a good pick;; eg; look at the fri games and circle all tms that 'should' comfortably win by 6+;;

and the biggest reason of all is that its very hard for a cold dog to cover a line of +5.5;; it happens but very rarely;;its the cappers job to NO PLAY the hot dogs

Roag, I haven't gone back and reviewed all your parlays and teasers, but I have to wonder where you would be if you played straight bets on all of these teams. I know you crush some teasers and parlays some, but slow and steady may have some merit as well. We should go back and check it out. Thanks for your input as always.

just want to say that your tips seem to be hitting nicely,

and I'm not really a fan of tonights games so I aint got much to say on these,

In the Spurs/Jazz game I think the under is my likely bet, the total is 198,

and the total has gone UNDER in 6 of San Antonio's last 9 games when playing on the road against Utah,

I did the same thing right before the NBA season, 5Dimes is much better. I haven't cashed out yet, but heard they are much faster with payouts than Bookmaker. Best of luck!!!

never had a problem and and claiming it on taxes is up to you (honor system). books do not report to irs

ive got the spurs on the over. i know no one is betting on it, but ive got a feeling that when the spurs are healthy and rested they like to run. when they were on the road against the bulls they had an offnight, but they still pushed the ball. that was a 2nd game of a back to back. the spurs have not played in 5 days, so i am taking them in the over. the jazz allow a lot of points this year and have scored in triple digits in every game except for the mavs which was the 2nd game of a back to back WITH travel. travel is the key point cause it means they went strait from the game the night before to the plane then into a hotel around 3 in the morning at the earliest. i think both these teams put up a lot of points with the way they like to play this year and i wouldnt be surprised at all if it went to 210. both teams are rested. i took the jazz in the first quarter at a pickem while the spurs shake off some cobwebs then i took the spurs in the 3rdQ and to cover (-2)
