My leans for the day:

DAL @ MIN (+8)
The line is inflated. I capped it around +/- 5. Add to that the lack of line movement despite the imbalance in the betting % and MIN is looking good. DAL needs the win badly to try to pull themselves out of 8th place and avoid the Lakers in the first round. If they take the lead, they'll focus on defense, slowing the game, and I think that will allow MIN to cover.

UTA @ POR (-6)
Again, the line is off. It came out as +/- 9 for me. Add to that their relative strengths on the road and at home, the fact that UTA hasn't covered the spread on the road in the second half of the season (0-7 ATS), and that UTA fares poorly in B2B games (In 15 opportunities, Utah has won only 2 times SU and 3 times ATS in the back end of B2Bs). I like POR a lot here.

CHI @ IND (-1.5)
- I have this game at +/- 4. The home team has won all three of their games this season, and I feel like IND is in a good spot right now to take one from CHI.

Now you understand why I play only the first halves of games. Reliever heartburn is very hard to get over at night when it's time to go to sleep. Maybe you might want to revisit my baseball thread and get some clarification on this. you had the right call, you just let the money ride too long and some f*cker in the bullpen stole your money. Just think about it this way. With making wagers for the first half of a game you get the pitcher (listed only) you want pitching for you and you also get a better chance at getting the money tocome back quicker

Its always hard to pass up on the under between these two teams because of the way they play and the history of under cashing in between these two ball clubs. It worries me that Detroit games have been playing over the total 10 of their last 12 games, but on the other end Cleveland has been playing the opposite with 8 of their last 12 going under. With Iverson and possibly R. Wallace back in the lineup the game can possibly go over. Iverson isn't the greatest offensive player but he is more of a scorer than a distributor of the ball and he draws contact putting him on the line. Cleveland obviously does better offensively and defensively at home and the opposite holds true for Detroit on the road. If this is the case, with Detroit keeping it close then the game has a chance of going over the total. Another aspect that I'm looking at is the line movement here. I've noticed that the o/u line doesn't move too much in Cleveland games unless there is a possibility that the public might be right. The game opening at 177.5 and now at 180 with 77% of the public on the over has the correct line movement. If the linesmaker didn't think there is a possibility of the game going over then I believe they would've kept it at the same line of 177.5. Its a tough one to call, but I might either stay away from this one or possibly taking the over if I had to pick. Just wanted to share my thoughts on this and bol on your plays.

I hear that. however, I play much different situations than just the whole gm. I do play first halves quite often, just getting warmed up before I lay the wood. That was def the right call, actually the pen can be used to your advantage as well homie ei COORS FIELD

Hello everyone - have been enjoying some of the sharp posts so here is my bit. I'd love to take the Sixers tonight but Dalembert is a game-time decision. Phila probably would have held their lead v. Detroit if not for Samuel's strained calf. The guy tends to play possessed this time of year. So, laying heavy on the Trailblazers (they want this).
