Bench has been awful but they're also not getting anything from Butler, Dunleavy and Gibson this half and 2nd half of game 4 which has been huge.

He had every right to. Dellavedova tangled up his legs on purpose. Little instigator piece of shit.

Mixed emotions here. I mean obviously given the way the game went you have to somewhat feel very fortunate.

But I don't understand what the Bulls did late in the game.

First Butler takes a bad 3 with like 15 seconds on the shot and plenty of time to still go 2-for-1.

                    Then they don't rebound.

Then they run a stupid risky backdoor play when they need a 3.

                    WTF

I guess I just have to believe they can pull out these 2 remaining games. They need Pau back sooooooo badly.

Otoh I don't want to see Mirotic play 1 more minute in this series. Just go small with Snell. The guy costs you points on both ends constantly. Literally the only worthwhile thing he did was that halfcourt shot. Other than that he probably cost them like 10 points. One of the biggest swings on the game was when he pumpfaked like 3 times under the rim and ended up getting stripped then gave a soft foul that resulted in a 3 point play for James. Instead of being down 4 you're down 9.

Can't believe +6 covered. As a Bulls fan, this game and series has really sealed Thibs fate with this team. This is looking like 2011 all over again. Like that year this is the first and weakest year for LeBron's team and the Bulls still can't get over the hump.

I don't understand the offense they run. It's mind-boggling. And then sometimes out of nowhere they start moving the ball, getting open shots, picking their spots to play slow and play fast and they go on a huge run.

That's why I can't yet give up on this series. This team is as unpredictable as it gets. I really hope I don't have to go into the summer thinking "up 2-1 and up 11 late in the 3rd with 2 injured stars on the other team playing horrible and they somehow blow the series and cost me an 18 grand swing between a 2 grand loss and a 16 grand win".

Clippers will win bro. They want to end this shit. Rockets will play decent for a while but Clippers take over late.

To be fair Pau going down was a game changer. He dominated game 1 and has been a double double machine.

Surely he has to play at least game 7? There's an extra day's rest too before game 7. I can see him sitting out game 6 but he has to at least try in game 7.

Yeah I greatly underestimated how big him going down was. Wonder why. I mean sure he's looked a little slow but given how Noah has been playing, given the fact you can't trust Mirotic in these big games, you really need him out there... Or just go small. I wondered what Tony Snell was doing in the NBA last year and thought he was useless and it took me a while to be convinced this year but I'd play him much more.

                                    Pau Gasol - F/C - Bulls

Pau Gasol is hopeful he'll be able to play in Game 6 against the Cavs on Thursday.

"If I’m able to run and able to play at a certain percentage above 50 percent, I’ll try to give it a go," said Gasol. "There’s still some steps that I need to get done in the next 48 hours in order to be able to play an NBA game." The Bulls will rely upon Joakim Noah, Taj Gibson, and Nikola Mirotic to fill the void in Pau's absence for Game 5 tonight, and we'll continue to monitor his status very closely heading into Game 6 on Thursday. Expect another update following Thursday morning's shootaround.

I don't know if it's just me feeling down or whatever after my future just took a major hit but I'm struggling to get excited for the rest of the postseason. Whatever's left of this Bulls/Cavs series and the WCF might be the only stuff worth watching.

I hate that I might have to hop back on the LeBron bandwagon after not thinking much of Cleveland all year but there's no fukking way they're losing a series to the Hawks so I might have to.

Lol okay maybe that's a bit much but this Cavs team won't be doing anything. They have the benefit of the easy path to the Finals though which at least gives them a shot.

Absolutely not. Just think the Hawks are shit. They'd be losing this series if John Wall was playing for sure.

Just asking. I didn't even follow the NBA back then so I know it could be way off. Just remembered there was a series where KG went down and Boston lost a game 7 to Orlando at home after leading 3-2. I've watched a lot of random games on replay and I think that game 7 was one of them.

Boston was hanging on for dear life that playoffs without Garnett.

He played with the same injury in game 1, right? Maybe it doesn't affect him this bad and he shows up with a Conley game 2 vs Warriors type of performance. Either way, if he's at 70% of his best Wizards +8 looks like a really good play.
