The ups and downs thing is crazy. Just gotta somehow mentally hang in there until it gets better.

The thing is it's all coming at the same time - I'm making bad picks and getting bad luck on some others.

I can deal with a bit of bad luck when I'm rolling - I'll be winning less than I like to (and complaining as I complain about everything

) but at least not losing. When it all comes at once this kind of shit happens.

I'm not quite sure why I'm doing this since I despise parlays and teasers but I don't see how either of these teams don't win comfortably. Giving it a try, I guess now's the time. It's better than a 5-pt teaser at 5D for instance that would only pay -110 for 2 teams, here I'm getting -107 for 5 points on 1 team and 6 points on the other.

Hopefully I get punished so I never do this again

Shoulda won even more, I wanted to put 1 unit on that +700 but couldn't cause of limits...

LOL at both legs on that teaser/parlay/whatever you want to call it losing by a combined 1.5 points. It's the second one I've bet in 3 years and I can basically guarantee it'll be the last one

Anyway, it's a nice start to what could be a big week. I have a couple games I like a lot on Wednesday.

Kings are back to being the Kings since they fired Malone so I'm not sure if we can trust them. They can lose by 30 to anyone on any given day.

If we could count on the Kings to give a big effort (like the Jazz did a few days ago) I'd like this play though.

This is also a rematch of THAT Klay Thompson game for what it's worth.

Kings were leading early in the 3rd before that outburst and ended up being down 24 or something at the end of the quarter. Klay obviously won't go off like that but that's the kind of thing that can happen with the Kings.

BOL Seto. I like Bulls too. Only thing I worry about is their schedule. They haven't played since Friday and have been on the road for more than a week. Hopefully too much time off doesn't hurt them here like it did Okc a few weeks ago when they played Houston.

the team I dread betting on more than any other are the Pelicans...they just seem to know when i have anything on or against them...and use that information in the cruelest way possible...they have good enough personnel to kill you on any night when you go against them...but they're also one of the weakest-character teams...quick to roll over and die...just when you need 'em to perform
