Keep in mind, ALL the backtested results that were sent to me last year by TheLimit, did not include the Bonus v1 Plays. They were never part of the Filtered 1-7-5 backtest or official plays for that matter. They ARE included in my Regular 1-7-5, I specifically remember mentioning last year that this was one of the differences. The Philadelphia (B) bet win of 7 units should not be included in the filtered 1-7-5 results if you are keeping stats the way it was backtested.

Well, I've just checked my records for last year and I did include the bonus V1 plays in the Filtered 1-7-5 without comment from anyone. My record shows that the Filtered version with the bonus series came out at -113 units. Having, today, deleted them from the record, the outcome was -110 units; not much difference. They both faired comfortably with the unfiltered 1-7-5 outcome of -180 units.

Overall, regardless of last year's outcomes, I believe the unfiltered version is the way ahead. Therefore, I am going to drop the Filtered version from my daily posts. I do not have time to account for yet another filter. However, I will continue to track the Filtered version on my spreadsheet and I will publish occasional comparisons during the season.

I've been following the Morrison 1-7-5 and its been amazing this so far this season but thats with no losses yet. I searched everywhere in these threads and saw that last year this system ended up -180 units which is pretty rough. But I couldn't find how many losses the system actually had to generate -180 units.

So does anyone know what the final record was for Morrison 2013-2014? Thanks.

Any chance you could put something straight with me?..

I was convinced a labby was the way to go with these plays, but have never played a whole season to see how it goes.

This year a fair few people that used a labby in the past, no longer use one.

What do you recommend for money management?, my bankroll is currently $866.

Another option could be to entertain the idea of straight betting either the a, b or c bets if their individual win% was high enough on their own. I am not looking for a handout, but if anyone has these numbers or has a reference to the post that contains this information it would be extremely helpful. I'd imagine it exists somewhere around the inception of the 1-7-5 strategy which was implemented last year?

Hi Brundle, welcome back. Historically the A Bets do not win enough times to flat bet on them. And that's with point buying (60% success at 180 odds). There are even more losses without buying the points, but that is obviously cheaper. I don't know if flat betting on the 1.10 ATS brings a better result.

The B bet (point buying) is approx. 80% success rate and is definitely a better proposition. So, if you flat bet (point buy) only the B Bets, your action will obviously reduce, but you should profit. You could risk up to 9% of your BR allocated to the Morrison system as your risk unit per bet on the 180 odds and be safe from extinction, I think. So far this season the B bets are 6-1 across all 3 versions.
