I really appreciate your ideas and would like to publicly thank you for everything you do. I've never hedged a bet before but decided to start practicing it a couple of weeks ago. I've only done it three times and it just paid off for me last night.
I had a 3 Team ML Parlay with Cavs -290, Spurs -800, and Lakers -550 and laid 200 to win 160. The Cavs won early and the Spurs were up 10 with 5 min left so I figured they would cash at home. I took your advice and put 50 on the 76ers ML +425 to win 212. When Iguadala hit that 3 I was so thankful for my hedge bet.

good post dex...the Kid and myself paid the price on the lakers/philly total today. the books have already caught up with that running stuff of the sixers...just like that of the twolves.

Another thing that I will take into account now after watching the 76ers play is that they cannot shoot 3 pointers. That's significant because if they can't get out and run, then they have to settle for long jumpers and they aren't a great jump shooting team.

Ray Allen's status for Wednesday's game against the Heat is uncertain after he hyper-extended his right elbow during the fourth quarter on Tuesday.


Rajon Rondo played through a sprained right ankle on Tuesday, but his status for Wednesday's game is uncertain. His availability depends upon how the ankle reacts overnight -- if it swells up or stiffens, the Celtics might have to rely on Eddie House and Stephon Marbury at point guard.

Doc Rivers said there is a possibility Glen Davis (sprained ankle) will return to action on Wednesday, though he is officially listed as doubtful.

Rip Hamilton, who is doubtful to play on Wednesday, said his nagging groin injury has simply become too painful to play through. Hamilton missed eight games with the same injury in December and January, but it hasn't healed. "The injury is getting worse," he said. "There's no way I can play and the only thing that actually makes it better is rest." It sounds like he could be out for quite some time, though the official word is day-to-day.

Peja Stojakovic is likely to miss another game on Wednesday, his eighth in a row, because of lingering back problems.

actually..thx for that stat....wasn't aware of the ATS just the 15-3 SU...I saw them play againt Mizzou @ home and really take it to them...I guess that skewed my thinking..they seemed to limp home ATS going 0-4-1 down the stretch in their last five...thx

shoe, really? charlotte is over 4 out of last 5 games. sac is over 3 out of last 5. Both teams have been scoring a lot in the past few games too. The last time the two played each other was a while ago, and it was a total of 189, but charlotte has been playing much better as of late. the under makes me nervous. why do you like it so much?

The OVER between the Bulls and the Thunder is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings. Additionally, the OVER is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings these two have met in OKC. Average totals have been set around 198 points while the average scores have totaled around 209 points. In the last meeting, the total was set at 206 and it barely cashed as both teams combined for 207 points. The lines makers have made an adjustment and set it much lower. It opened at 199.5 but now I am seeing it at 201.5. I still like the OVER. Chicago is off a back to back and even though the Thunder have been playing some good defense lately, I still feel that this game goes OVER the total. With the Thunder finally getting everyone healthy, I see Westbrook/Durant/Green carrying the load tonight as well.

Alright math probabilities involved after in short SAC tends to break down during the long road trip. When I follow trends I follow exact trends (ex.third gm of road trip, fourth gm of road trip west coast east coast, b2b I have this game capped at 196, giving me a 5 point advantage.) The numbers point to the under
I never look at over is 10-5 on wednsdays
over is 8-2 in there last ten

I get more down to the finite detail as much as posssible

The OVER between the Wizards and Clippers is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings and 6-1 in the last 7 meetings. We get two below average teams that really don't play any defense. Both teams are on a back to back but I still feel the OVER is the play. Average totals have been set at 199 points while average scores have hit 209. There was a big adjustment from the last meeting where the total was set at 188. It opened at 203 and now it's at 204.5. I'll still take the OVER 204.5 between the Wizards and Clippers.

Its all about the first game after they beat the Celts. Im not exactly sure what the record is but its pretty d*mn good. I think the only teams to get away with a win after beating Boston were Lakers and Cavs.

ck, i just got back from my stockbroker and cashed in on the citigroup i bought at under a buck awhile back and it was a nice 15G profit that i took. i left the initial investment in. congrats to you. has anyone noticed any nba games recently that looked like the fix was in? i've seen a few in the last week that were really suspect. especially the utah game last nite. incredible. there should be some kind of investigation into games of that sort that are so obviously fixed.
