Let me explain. I'm currently a working student without access to a credit card and I'm not from the United States (I'm basically just here to share and acquire info to beat the books).

My bookie is sort of a middle man between me and that obnoxious gambling lord who squeezes the bejesus out of us. Usually the lines that they make are very reasonable (.5-1 point difference from this site), but they make huge ass adjustments when they see a line where they could deem themselves at a disadvantages. I have no qualms on this one though. If Rondo and Allen won't play, I personally project the line at MIA @ BOS+4. Boston has absolutely no chance to win unless an upset is in play.

I actually have to agree with KB here, I dont think the Celts stand a chance to win this one. They have been playing like garbage. They wont start winning again until KG is back. Or at least some other guys too. they are just too banged up. I would take the ML if my local offered one for this game. Wade will go nutz and score the usual 40 or so, and they will beat the celts.

And I love the Celts, and I hate to go against them. But it is what it is. Take the points.

Has anyone else noticed the absolutely feeble crowds @ the World Baseball Clasic?? I notice they haven't mentioned it on ESPN, but there is no one @ these games! The USA won the game last night and jumped all over themselves with no one there...

im thinking of taking the heat ML but im scared it will be one of those nights the celtics bounce back, last night i took the bulls ML and it paid off so i dunno if its a good idea to go against the celtics 2 nights in a row(especially cuz they are at home today)

The home court wont matter for the celts today. Half of boston is still hungover from yesterday. And I'd say pretty much all the fans are just waiting for KG to come back before they start winning consistently again. Plus, they are almost guaranteed a playoff spot, so why sweat another loss when the team is dealing with injuries.

no injury - hornets are simply getting played heavy. wish i got in at 11.5, but it should be a blowout. as with utah last night, just have to worry about the backdoor.

what i love about the hornets, is byron scott always keeps the pedal to the medal - they always attack and usually leave the starters in late, even in a 15 point game.

WOW. +170, I didnt realize it was that much - makes sense though. Yeah, I'd hit that too, and I'm from Boston.

Also, in regards to the homecourt, remember that fans in boston are tough. (not as bad as philly - we're not going to boo our team, but boston fans do get pissed when the team is playing like junk) It could be a quiet crowd at home tonight. The fans might not get the emotion back until KG returns and shows promise...or if Scal enters the game.

NY UNDER and POR ML for now.

NY UNDER - Both teams are fighting for the playoff spot. Its going to be much more playoff defense throughout the game. Also this is the last game of the long road trip for NJ and they are without Devin Harris. They must be tired at this point.

POR ML - Nothing more to say. Please check back the history in the past few years. IND won all the money in this matchup and POR has NOT won in IND homecourt since 2004 or maybe even earlier than that. Just notice JM is also a great positive factor for us here. GREAT.

Maybe HOU UNDER later. Two defensive teams are playing here. And They are both full of defensive players. Low scoring. Im still watching this one, have not decided yet.

The more I look at the Celts game, the more I love Miami. I also love miami as 1 team in a teaser. just deciding the other team. but to get miami +8.5 or 9 seems too easy. might tease it with either OKC or Orlando

Teams love the chance to beat the celts. they dont care if its an injured Celtics team, they play even harder. Look at the recent teams to beat the celts. Miami is good right now too, and have already beat the celts recently. Look for them to come into boston and be fired up to beat the celts at home. MAIMI MIAMI MIAMI. thats all I will say about this game for the rest of the day.
