Thread Update: Well a losing record tonight at 1-4-0, but ended up +0.1 Units after the halftime bet on the Spurs....complete mis-read on the Heat pregame, but cannot believe they spotted the Spurs 9 at half....glad to capitalize on that...any-who, this brings the overall playoff record to 175-155-14 for a +16.52 Units overall.....

1st Round - 91-62-3 for a +20.38 Units

1st Plays of Game 5:

Spurs -6 (0.90 Units) - Miami just looks flat out deflated right now. Never did I think I would see a team fold like they did in Games 3 and 4, and I do not expect things to change when they have to travel to San Antonio for Game 5. Stats show the Spurs are the best home team in the league this year with an average home winning margin of about 8, and this is even better in the playoffs. The last four seasons worth of matchups behind these squads in San Antonio favor the Spurs as well, where they have covered this spread in 5 of the 8 matchups. I look for the Spurs to get up early again, and never give it back.

2 Team, 4.5 Point Teaser : Spurs -1.5 and Spurs/Heat Over 191.5 (0.50 Units) - The only way this total doesn't get over 191 is if the Heat get blown out of the water so bad again that they just throw in the towel and do not put up any points. The Spurs will get there 103-110, so the Heat just have to show up for this total to go over in my mind. I know Game 5, 6, 7, sharps tend to go under, but this series has not played out how Finals series usually go (AKA road team blowing out the home team with the "best player in the world" in back to back games), so that defense is out the window for me.

Final Thread Update: Finished this NBA season on a good note going 7-3-0 for a +1.87 Units. This brings my overall playoff thread record to 182-158-14 for a +18.39 Units overall.....

1st Round - 91-62-3 for a +20.38 Units

3rd Round - 45-31-4 for a +7.43 Units
4th Round - 23-23-1 for a +1.38 Units

For anybody who tailed from the beginning of this thread will note I stated my goal for the playoffs was to show a +15 Units overall, and if we could do +20 Units, that would be great. I believe in a conservative approach and you will never see me betting enormous on any one game/bet. I believe there were less than five bets in this thread over 1.0 units large. We reached our goal, and hope others were able to be profitable this playoffs

I will also be posting my NFL plays here in a few months, and although I do not have a defined goal of how many units I would like to make during the regular season and playoffs, the same conservative approach will apply, but you can be confident when it is all said and done, you will be in the black, just like here.....BOL to all until then
