rockets swept portland last year in 4 games, yet dropped their early season tilt in portland all of the games they played last year, they covered against the blazers as well except for an 11.5 spread at home early in the season. Revenge should be easily achievable with oden out, no mcgrady issues and the teams ability to handle business with brooks running the show. I actually really like the under, houston beats portland with defense, specifically good perimeter defense to cover portland's jumpshot happy bunch, and yao clogging the middle to keep roy from driving too much.

charlotte's victory over phoenix i think was the first time they had ever beaten the suns. Now they travel to phoenix to face a suns squad that matches up well with them AND has a brutal eye towards revenge. look for the run and gun to bury the bobs, who haven't been quite as sharp lately.

chicago played the magic tough in orlando earlier this year, and got blown out at home last time time they faced. Orlando is fresh off a nationally televised blowout of the d-wades. chicago hasn't loss consecutive games since the first game of that infamous road trip where we all began giving them credit for some quality wins. The line is acting very fishy and you have to ask why the magic where favored by 6 and now it opened at 3 and shrunk

The thunder do surprisingly well against the lakers, and the way the spread is moving with 80% on the lakers supports that theory last 4 times they were home dogs of 7+:

the lakers defense is too vulnerable to lapses imho, and i guarantee durant shows up for this home showdown against kobe and co. Hate fading the lakers, but OKC plays them tough normally and OKC has been a cover machine this year, and the way that there is still virtually noone playing them, makes me feel like vegas just might let that continue until they start winning consistently.
OKC +8 (no ML play, i doubt kobe lets them lose, just a tough close game)

WOW!!! I really didn't think it would be such a problem with the whole name thing. I use Hockeytown71 for almost all my accts.
