alright i'm posting on NO, for all the reasons mentioned. Even when they didn't have CP3 or chandler, the horny's gave the magic fits. They have played ridiculously tough games over the last few years and over the last 3 years have split the season series. The way they were dominated earlier this year should have them fired up for vengence. Plus i think that a bad trade (talent wise, made sense economically), should have people undervaluing the horny's for a while, while the books are DEFINITELY set to start collecting money back from magic backers after the magic killed books for the last few months.

i can't find any reason why the blazers wouldn't hold home court ATS style against the grizz as they have been doing well at covering those 10+ point home spreads, even without oden, the line only dropped by .5 Either way, i just don't feel convinced enough on this game to play it myself, as i prefer laying the big points with portland in revenge situations. Here is something else interesting about the 76ers. 76'ers are now the 5th best overall 1st QTR winning team in the NBA, I have been riding this train through the rise, when they started they were around the 50% mark now they are 61%. The secret to this sucess has been their 1st QTR Home games. They won 4 out of 5 last 1st QTR's @ home, their only loss being to Boston, the second best 1st QTR team. the last time philly and denver did not split the season series was 03-04. Philly like denver is 4-1 SU last 5. They are playing good ball and only struggled yesterday against an indy team that historically has their number, but i think that as good as they play at home, the home crowd should neutralize the effect of a btb. Also, the line has stood firm at +1, despite public pounding denver. Trends for philly here are absurd.

Karayilan - very interesting. i noticed that 1st qtr trend too. 76ers could be a team that makes a surge 2nd half of season. very tough at home and play very consistantly both sides of the ball.
CK - love the bulls 2nd half of season like you do. this trade is gonna pay dividends for them. Salmons is a perfect complement to what they do and Miller will provide a consistent presence in their frontcourt. GL with them 2night!

OK, here's how sick the Blazers have been @ home of late...
Since that Dec.25 Christmas ruining, nationally televised, heart-breaking loss to the hated Mavs they have gone ballistic with a 10-2 record. Only 2 losses were Cavs and Hornets. They've beaten Boston, and have notched double-digit wins over the Bucks, Warriors, Wizards, Bobcats, Jazz, and Thunder.
I said it very early last season... Blazers are gonna be a very tough team to deal with. That home crowd goes nuts. If they learn to win on the road they will contend for the West sooner rather than later. These guys are fresh and they have the Grizz's #.
