#144And once again.....the 2 plays that I would contribute to the board aren't even available.
I would have contributed Binghamton and then Utah St.
Both my picks that I would have contributed yesterday if they would have been available won by like 40 points.Comment -

for your thoughts. With the recent run I'm on, there's no time for totals unless they clear the benchmark by leaps and bounds. The game did clear the 6 goal bar but wasn't strong enough to put anything on it. I've been watching the PL most of the day and might put some on MON there also. Time to get things back to normal and it needs to start sooner than later.

#150I use to watch that stuff every time it was on be it AWA, NWA, WCCW and/or WWF. The Killer Bees - I remember seeing them at the Bayfront Center (St. Pete, FL) several times in single and tag action. Gotta admit, those times were simpler and less stressful than today's pressure cooker.

#166the last time philly and denver did not split the season series was 03-04. Philly like denver is 4-1 SU last 5. They are playing good ball and only struggled yesterday against an indy team that historically has their number, but i think that as good as they play at home, the home crowd should neutralize the effect of a btb. Also, the line has stood firm at +1, despite public pounding denver. Trends for philly here are absurd.
76ers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record
76ers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as a home underdog
76ers are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games as a home underdog of 0.5-4.5
76ers are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog
76ers are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. loss
All I know is that I'm sold
PHI +1
golden state always gives the lakers fits and not to mention that the warriors have been playing some good ball lately, particularly at home. last time they were 10 point dogs at home (GS covered), now it's down to 5, but there it sits even with the public loving some lakers. Not much more to say here, as the board seems to be with me.
GS +6 (gametime)
posted chicago already before finding out about that trade, but chicago has been very stacked with jumpshooters and their shorthandedness should be cancelled out with the fact that milwaukee is on a back to back and that chicago should be pretty pumped about a trade that should do improve them enough to give them a crack at the playoffs. Milwaukee is ready to be let down after FINALLY getting the pistons (having dropped 3 straight earlier in the season to detroit). This game just screams let down too much for me not to fade them.
CHI -1.5
still looking... debating on NO because of the lack of line movement with ppl on orlando, and orlando having gone OT yesterday. Also i think it's time to fade orlando, having lost their offensive starting block (jameer nelson) and having clearly peaked in months previous. They are starting to show signs of slowing down, going 3-3 SU and 2-4 ATS in their last 6. only thing i'm hung up on is who can keep howard from shredding down low with chandler gone/out? If the new guys are going in for NO i'll probably sit it cuz i can't do minute mixing, i'm almost thinking of flipping to ORL 1st half with momentum, but still researching here so no play yet.
**update** NO -1.5 posted

#171Chicago is one of the Good Doggies in play tonight, but they are a road favorite in this matchup tonight. If somehow Coach Del Negro can get a clue, he would let his team run and gun as that is what their personnel is designed to do. Let's hope he can't possibly make enough bad decisions to slow down the steam of 8-2 straight up record against the Bucks in the longhaul. So whatever they're doing bothers the Bucks. Throw in th Bucks coming home on the back end of a back to back with the back end game being at home are 1-1 ats but oddly enough they couldn't cover the number against the hapless Kings squad. The Bulls are a much better team than Sacramento. The Bucks played well aginst the Pistons, but the Pistons aren't what they used to be these days, so that's no stunning revelation.
The the "Good Doggies" Bulls fit the criteria of being a team on the rise. Del Negro has unlimited supply of talented guys that can create their own shot off of the dribble at his disposal. He just has to learn as a coach how to make it all come together. Skiles was just fine, the players got the backing of management and then we have last season and the underacheiving of this year up until right before the All Star break. If Porter got the axe for not acheiving results with a good team, then Del Negro should get the axe as well. No way should this team have a record like the one it has. Give Paul Westhead this team and watch how many points they score.
93% of bettors are playing the Milwaukee moneyline which is bizarre when you take into account that they have a 51% of bettors on them and the line is up to 1.5 and 2 on some books with an opening line of a (PK). With only 7% of bettors on the Bulls moneyline the line is steady with them being favored and a slim 49% minority on the spread. 8-2 straight up is significant payout on the moneyline plays for the Bulls. That is kind of hard to ignore. I'm not gonna be the one to put the brakes on a streak like that. Not with a basic winner take all spread. No way. Trade or no trade, it makes no difference to me if they are shorthanded tonight.
Bulls outlast the Bucks in a shootout which I have capped at 209.5 because Chicago gives up 103.8 on the road and Milwaukee gives up 105.5 in home back ends of back to back games their last two such occasions.
So for that alone I think that the over is a good light option for this game despite the dramatic movement from 209 down to 206.5, which triggered a 80% of the bettors on the under currently. In all actuality, the line was where it was supposed to be. Plus the Bulls are fresh.
The Bucks are not a very deep team and guys in the locker room are on ther way out of town. If Bogut comes back for this game he won't help things any being thrown back in the mix. It will cause movement if he is announced as coming back to play in this game, but it won't matter. He has missed a lot of time and rust is a possibility. They are in a bad spot for a letdown.

#172wouldn't necessarily call last year recently after dropping one ATS to them earlier this year, but that's cool, i don't expect or even want that many people following me, it makes me feel more confident about my pick when i'm confidently dissenting. I've already got enough plays that everyone else agrees with (ie GS, CHI, and maybe a blind play on MIA because pho3nix is hot and because it does make sense as a play, even with J.O.'s minute mixing)Comment -

#175great write-ups wangichu. agree with it completely - can't pull trigger on phi. or chi. though!
denver is soo tough both home and away, down the stretch i feel they are really gonna be what orlando was 1st half of the season - basically bet on them or don't touch... though phi. does have trends here.
Chi. is an enigma! and so is Milwaukee. now with the trade, NO THANKS! Mil. has somehow some way remained tough as nails at home w/out Redd.
I'm just about sold on GSW if i can get that line up a point or two!!! Kobe scares the piss out of me. Warriors have been nice @ home but no Biedrins is gonna mean buckets down low for gasol and odom. too close to call right now. love to see 6 / 6.5 at gametime - hook it to 7!!!
Added PHO as soon as Z-Bo suspension was confirmed.
closer to adding ATL now that Kings will be without their main man Salmons, and their big man, Miller. i smell route.
Still debating the BLAZERS - any insight on that one Wangichu, CK etc..????
on NO/ORL initially i was thinking NO also, but they just traded Chandler and the new guys may not be on the same page with C.Paul yet, so i advise laying off. i agree about Orl peaking waaaay earlier though. the time to fade them is now, but maybe just not in this spot.Comment
