Woulda been crazy bad luck to lose. First of all the guy hits a ridiculous fadeaway to push the lead to 3 (if Port had been down 1 there was amost no way it woulda gone to OT), then Clippers screw up and Portland hits yet another game-tying 3, then CP misses that shot... Then up 1 with 45 secs to go they almost still screwed the cover, most notably with that dumbass foul by Matt Barnes when they still had a 6 sec differential between clocks so no need to foul. Unreal.

You're not making money just because you know basketball (but that's clearly the foundation)...you're making money because you know how to size and structure your bets...i especially like how you pick a few early lines at Bwin each week and wait for them to blossom into middling opportunities.

I'm keen on following more intently in the new year...may it be a prosperous one for all of us.

Thanks. It's all really about spot betting and knowing the "attitude" of teams in the reg season. My bball knowledge will come more in handy in the playoffs although it obviously helps a lot even in the reg season.

bwin are cool, I hit 1 middle off them this year (and lost probably 6 or 7, so won about 3 units or so with the strategy which i'm fine with), and have gotten some better lines that i've just decided to ride out, so they must account for like 10x i wouldn't have won if i didn't have them. def helps.

I love sprinkling those big plus alternate lines, but my book just isn`t big enough to keep up with them.
Have them for MNF and hopefully playoffs.

I absolutely am. Fukked up there, smh. Thought they'd come out strong and feared the backdoor a bit. Wrong decision, shoulda at least tried as u say.

Love low risk decent reward plays. Which makes my decision to snub this one even dumber lol

hey. I was capping Heat by 6, Chicago -2.5 and Suns by at least 7.

played Bulls and Memphis ATS, ended up just watching the first game. line was short and telling, agreed.

anyway on to the next one. Right now I'm looking at Atlanta and how they will get any action @ +2.5. Also waiting for the opener in Toronto - Washington, kinda hoping for -4/-4.5 if you know what I mean.

I'm not sure I'd read too much into those lines. That game yesterday was telling to me as seeing the Heat as a short fave at home against a non-elite team is a square's wet dream, and they were off the road trip... I mean I can defnitely see why books liked GS there. Not sure Joe public would like either of those 2 games as much even with a slightly off line. TBH I kinda would lean Hawks and Wiz in those games but I actually hate the whole card as of now and wouldn't be surprised to have no bets at all today.

I really like the Wizard from a basketball standpoint, but the number is giving me a hard time. Same thing with the Pelicans tonight, and even worse regarding the ML in that game.

I'm pretty high on the Pels as dogs in general, or maybe laying a few at home. Not too sure about laying points on the road with them though.
