In other news... I'm using SportsBook.com and for the last few plays, they lines have come out last for the JM plays, while all the other games are out way early. Has anyone else been experiencing this? If so, could they be "on to us?" Meaning... could this indicate a problem in the future?Comment -

#741Yes, I will. But I probably won't need to. All of those games are listed on the schedule I provided earlier in the year, so I'm sure Kevin will be including them in his post anyway. As I sais earlier, the N.Y. Knicks bonus play last week only got missed because I missed it when I made the schedule, it was nothing that Kevin did wrong. Hopefully the rest of them are on the schedule so that shouldn't happen again. But if anyone notices one, please feel free to mention it, but only AFTER Kevin has made his daily post and IF it doesn't already appear on there, which it most likely will.Comment -

Golden State was clearly -1 on 11/26/13. I still don't see where they are getting points. This is copied directly from Covers.comComment -

#743I see where we have our dicrepancy. For some reason The daily page on covers that has the lines for all the games on one page has GS at +1, however, the individual team page for Golden State under past results (the one that I posted above) has Golden State at -1. This is the page that I used for ALL my backtesting, so if there is a discrepancy with the lines this should be the one used. I realize we don't use ScoresandOdds for this system, but since Covers had two different lines in two different places listed for the same game I checked ScoresandOdds to see what they had, it was also -1, and at no point since the opening of the bet were Golden State ever the favorite. I guess you can do whatever you want, but if you are going to post 1-7-5 results then you should base it on the same info I used. This may be the first time it ever happened, I don't know, but if this is a regular occurance on there, then our data will be different all year and the results being posted will be based on numbers that I never used to determine success of this bet strategy. Even the day the game happened there was a discussion in this thread about who was continuing with bet and who was stopping from the push. Since I had -1.5 on that bet, my decision was obvious, but most other people pushed that bet. Other than that one section of Covers, I have not seen anywhere else Golden State being the dog team, even for a portion of the day.Comment -

There are no system plays for (12/1/13)
We will ALWAYS play the M/L on favorites and the point spread (-110) on dogs. The team underlined and highlighted blue is the play. There is no point buying in this system, with one exception, if your team is the favorite, and buying down to a (-½) point spread is cheaper than playing the M/L, then by all means, buy the points, otherwise, M/L on all favorites and point spread on dogs. All results will be based on this principle. All lines and standings are based on FINAL lines from ScoresandOdds.com/. If one of the teams we are playing switches from a favorite to a dog, after my initial post, make sure you get the appropriate line if it differs from what I have posted. The wins and losses will be based on who is the dog team, and who is the favorite on ScoresandOdds.com/ final lines. I will try to update my post as often as I can throughout the day if the lines do change. However, it is the individual bettor’s responsibility to get the appropriate line if it differs from the line in my post.

#747That's fine. I'm glad you were able to discover the error on covers.com. I normally use the multi-game results page, which I will continue to use for easy access to multiple results. I'm sure you will keep me (and covers) straight. I'm now going to edit my posted stats to reflect the correct spread. ThanksLast edited by Wallco99; 12-01-13, 10:58 AM.Comment -

#749It's fine to use that, but on games that have final scores within 1-2 points of the game line, it may be worth it to double check against the individual pages. I do the same thing as you, but I use the scores page on ScoresandOdds because I like the layout. But any game that I am grading from which I used Covers.com as my backtest site that ends up being a close score/line game, I will check also on Covers team page. You are doing an outstanding job, all of the errors are from plays before you took over or discrepancies of data on the same website. If we are on the same page then all is OK.
I'm now about to have a stab at your unfiltered stats for the year so far before posting them this evening. With no filters to screw me up, I'm hoping it should be straight forward......Comment -

#750Kev, you may have mentioned it in a previous post and I missed it, but what lines do you use for 3-point buys? I know it only affects the total units if a series loses, but I've seen it at various books from -170 to -220.Comment -

#18 Toronto (+7½) @ Golden State (A) (10:35 pm EST)
System rules and backtest can be found in posts #44 & #45.
Note: The lines I have listed were the current lines at the time of my post and may not reflect the final lines used to determine wins & losses.Last edited by Wallco99; 12-03-13, 01:19 PM.Comment -

#766For some reason, the SBR Sportbook shows Orlando as a loss. I sent them a message, because they definitely got that wrong.Comment -
