I passed on the knicks because line went down to 11.5 and I hate that number. I just fully invested all my funds in the boston game tonight at -9.5. I also took the 1st half -5.5 because boston should come out fired up at home, and I'm sure Doc Rivers gave them the speech that everyone is counting us out now so lets show them what we got. Lets kill the RAPTORS!! lol something like that

I like the sound of Celtics sliding by enough first half, but eventually, I think Raptors will win whole game with the additional +9. I'm also debating whether or not to play this under game of 186.

Over/Under was 181 yesterday's game for these two teams, and unexpectedly, it went under. Today, good spot here for two tired teams to slow the pace down. These clubs play the second of a home-and-home series as they met in Toronto on Sunday and now at the Garden on Monday evening. The Celtics are happy to be home after playing eight of the last 10 games on the road. And, the road wasn't kind to the Celtics, who went 2-6 SU after Sunday's win over the Raptors. Both these clubs play back-to-back and three games in their last four nights. The Celtics are 0-5 O/U in their last five games with no rest and 2-14 O/U the last 16. Don't expect either of these teams to be motivated to run up and down the court, and with the Celtics allowing the second fewest points in the league, this should be the perfect spot for an UNDER play.

@ CK....Is it pretty much a consensus that all teams are affected negatively in the back end of a back to back? Or does this affect vary from team to team? Either way, how would you suggest factoring this into a handicapping ( in terms of giving or taking points away from the team on the back end of a back to back)? Thanks in advance.

Satisfaction has a tendency to drive people to express themselves freely. In this case, when people see something out of line, down right absurd, then something triggers them to stand up and say something about it. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm on the Morrison play of Portland. I don't like tonights card. One college game catching my eye is Appalachian St +11 at home against Davidson. Davidson is getting 70% of public bets and the number has climbed 2.5 pts since open. Thats alot of points for road team for road fav to lay, although Davidson has size advantage, App. State athletes good enough and they shoot free throws well, and last year Davidson won this game by 13 in there home court, historically when playing at App. St, they have competed and the fact this game is one of those small conference games where less action is played, you can get some value on dogs. I'm going to lay some small coin on App St +11 and pound Portland in the NBA. Good Luck all.

This should be music to the ears of Blazers backers as there will be minute mixing, with Hinrich having to get his 10-15 shots per game. This makes the Blazers an even stronger play IMO.

Pacers/Jazz 1Q U 57 looks good to me. Pacers average 25.8 with Utah only giving up 24.1. Jazz average 27.4 with Pacers giving up 26.3. Even if they score a point above their average each, it still goes under 57. I'll lay some small coin on the 1Q under.
