no, not tailing here anyway, just trying to get some opinion on the game, was just a thought, because in my experience usually the more talented comes through late in the game if it is not a total blowout. i see it over and over again, teams are in good spots only to be caught late by the better team.

Yeah, it definitely happens. I don't think the Wiz are as bad as their record indicates, or people think. They do get beat a lot, but they can also come out strong. You just have to be smart about when to take them. I think they'll have no problem today. Off to a strong start so far.

This may be my only pick today. Clippers are coming off of a loss yesterday, they're on the road, Chris Paul is out, Blake Griffen is shooting like crap, and they probably aren't expecting much out of Washington. The Wizards are at home , have had a day of rest (although they were in San Antonio on Saturday) and will hopefully come out and play hard to get a win. They've been struggling in the 2nd quarter and definitely have their own issues to resolve, but I'm rooting for the Wiz on this one.

Thanks! To be fair, I wasn't sure whether this one really fit the mold or not. LA Clippers are kind of a public team, but they are also without CP3, and Blake Griffin. I didn't realize Griffin would be out this game, but I knew that he was shooting poorly. This pic was more based on the fact that I know Washington is underrated. In hindsight, it probably does fit my public bias profile.

It's interesting because some of the math whizes over at the handicapping think tank forum Say that there is no mathematical or historical grounds for my theory. Somehow though, I keep making money with it.

No, the system wouldn't apply here because they're on the road. That being said, I do think they have a good chance at covering. Houston hasn't been that good, however I'm a little nervous since Lin is back. Is Curry back in the game? Haven't really looked.

Sounds like that might be a good pick. I'm not sure if I'm betting tonight or not. Haven't seen anything I feel that strongly about. I was thinking about Golden State, and also maybe Indiana vs Atlanta since Atlanta seems to be struggling. Not sure yet. Good luck!

Leaning toward taking the Lakers on the road tonight +1.5. Boston is on a back to back game, LA has been getting hot and is on a nice win streak including road games, and they've been looking good with their shooting percentages. So many people have had them on auto-fade that the line may be discounted a bit (Boston hasn't been that good either). Time to take advantage of their hot streak before the lines fully adjust. I realize they have some injuries, but I think they'll bring it in Boston tonight. Thoughts?

Well Boston has put together a nice little streak too - they've won their last 5 including beating Miami and the Clippers (who are slumping right now). Gasol is out, who was very instrumental in the winning streak LA has, and Howard is questionable I think. WMP is back and of course Rajon and Sullinger are out for Boston. Boston still has some games to give in the standings, so I would like to believe LA is more hungry for a win, but then again, there's a lot of history between these two teams. Sharp line but I would go with LA too.

How did you get +1.5 so early? I thought line opened at 2.5 and went down to 2?
