i went ahead and bet a H2H parlay for CUP race sunday:

STEWART over edwards (+105)
DALE JR. over kahne (-115)
NEWMAN over truex jr. (-110)

(6.4 to1)

really liked these matchups/prices so decided to go ahead

also added Dale Jr. (+1400), but not sure if ill use as cover or profit yet...just depends if i bet him again when line moves...

mark martin (+2700) is my longshot driver this week...been running up front and michigan is his best track overall

another thing to not get too wrapped up in these tests, is remember ALOT of teams (maybe half) didnt even use the primary car for testing last week and today probably the same....so cars u see today wont even be the cars on the track come the real race on sunday for alot of these teams

just something to keep in mind for those that read alot into practices/testing

engine wear at the tracks where they will be hammering them anyways.....extra 50-80 laps at this monster track alot of wear...and thats b4 the regular practices start tomorrow

most teams that will be using primary in tests today wont run that many laps probably....i would use my bacj-up too honestly....

least thats what they said last weekend....said 1/2 all teams used backup cars for tests

some teams wont even tell u if its the back-up or primary they used last week/ and same for today...

so they just run the backup car for the weekend..

TIRE wear will be a MAJOR concern come raceday

every driver who went 15+ consecutive laps in final practice(about 25%) came to find when they came to the garage, blisters were on 1 or both sides of front tires

looks like this will be a MAJOR concern for teams...speeds were way faster than even testing was on thursday....it looks to have caught every1, including goodyear by suprise

there were even blisters showing up on the rear tire as well in some cases

for me, i think thats 1 thing that has been missing is the tires are too good this year, so i kinda like a little tire wear drama

for what its worth, Dale Jr had fastest, then kennseth in best consecutive 10-lap lap averages, as did jimmy, kahne, gordon, and hamlin to name a few more today...but keep in mind different teams did different setups throughout both practices
