Alright boys, the Sprint CUP and Nationwide series are off the Michigan this weekend!!!...this track was also PAVED during the off-season so this will be another carzy weekend of action...NASCAR will give the teams 1-day of open testing on THURSDAY this week prior to official practices...should be a great weekend, and hopefully we all keep making money!

MICHIGAN is a 2-mile D-shaped Oval...banking is 18 degrees in all the turns, 12 degrees in the frontstretch and 5 degrees in the backstretch...the frontstretch is 3,600 feet long and the backstretch is 2,242 feet long

like every week, all the regulars information and leans are always welcome on this thread...all our information/leans can only help us all out in our wagering for the events, and the money we have made this season proves that...

im starting to watch past events already and starting to read through my notebooks for all drivers at michigan and the track itself...going to be some unknowns again this week with new pavement, and like last weekend, MICHIGAN is also known as 1 of the top strategy and fuel mileage track in the past on the circuit

QUALIFYING: SATURDAY 1pm

denny hamlin has won the past 2 spring races at MICHIGAN

66 of 85 winners have come from a top 10 starting position, but 4 of last 7 from 10th or worse

only 4 of last 28 races have been won from the front row

**TOYOTA has won 4 of last 5 races at michigan

probably will only be looking at 3 drivers early this week

just really depends on how 5dimes odds look when released...

with the new repave at MIS, i think that drivers that love to run the highest groove, and get the advantage from the high line are going to be hurt badly by this repave( like kahne and harvick)....just my early take on it

I like Kenseth, Ky. Busch, Edwards and Hamlin this week...

Edwards Won in 07 and 08 and is a very consistent performer here.

Kyle Busch won here last August, and I feel like he's going to be even hungrier with all the engine problems lately.

Kenseth hasn't won here since 2006, but he usually performs well at Michigan. Will prob take him in a matchup or o/u finishing position, but if he's a longshot to win, I think he's worth a small wager.

Hamlin has won the last two spring races here and finished 2nd in August of 2010, so he knows how to get to the front. I expect him to be the odds on favorite, so I may lay off of him if I can't get him at +600 or better. Will be refreshing this page and 5Dimes as well.

Junior is a bit in the Edwards category. We could lose a lot of units waiting for him to salute even when he looks good.

watching these past 4-5 michigan races has been especially helpful

comparing how strong some of these teams were compared to the finishes is crazy...pit calls and wrecks cost several wins, and finishes dont come close to reflecting how stout some really were...even more than usual

u couldnt pay ME to bet on carl edwards....at least Jr. is fast as hell, and having top 5 finishes every week...edwards isnt even close...and this is coming from some1 who cant stand Jr. and very very rare i ever bet on him anywhere, and his fans that think hes a top guy

i dont think pave makes much of a difference here, except drivers that like the high line....

looking at top 10 last week it didnt make any differnce there either..almost every driver that is a usual POCONO stud...even though logano winning was, but hes been good at pocono too recently...

i cant recall any driver thats usually stout at pocono that the repave hurt actually

all just depends on the early odds

theres a few drivers i would bet here no matter what, so if the price is right ill go ahead and bet them...ill have to bet them more than 1 time anyway, so ill take the chance if odds are right
