Plenty of times early plays don't pan out. Lol. Mostly on favs but either way u less I use 1 as a cover ill addon bets. I usually don't keep maxing on openers more than 1-2 times u less I just love them. And those are usually favs not longshot early plays
Only matters if they win though. But either way I look at it I was betting both no matter what, so I saved money either way and will a lot more so there's no down side really. But will addon for sure still on. BothComment -
Those 2 and kahne were my openers this week. All I have so far. I think for this week it worked out pretty great odds wise.
I mean Carl Edwards has 2 wins here and 3 straight top 5 finishes here at Las Vegas. Opening @ 20-1 was WAY off imo so no way I wasn't taking that.

I honestly though Logano should have opened worse. It's no like he's been very strong here but that wasn't at Penske and he really tore these cookie cutters tracks in cup most of last season. Without looking his best finish is 6th or 7th so he hasn't finished even top 5 but only 5-6 races here in cup I think totalComment -

Gotta love Sportsbook.ag. They open there odds with minimal changes. Only big change I see is Bowyer at 8-1. Edwards still 20-1. Kenseth is still 8-1 but that has to change. Kahne is up to 12-1.Comment -
Yeah but he got about 10x better when he made the move to Penske last year. I think he wins multiple races this season alone. Was like a totally different driver. Best season he's had by far and I look for even better of a season this yearComment -

when i go to Vegas, nascar is the 1 sport i still bet offshore because 99% of the time the odds are so much better...not to mention the over whelming -Ev for the options they offer offshore, that vegas never offered...they have got some better, but its still not up to par with offshore....at least not most offshore places but especially dimesComment -

Yep, I have seen the 1st 5 episodes thus far. I enjoy it. I never have been that big on playing big money tournaments like those guys do.
Speaking of horse racing if you guys are near a tv at 7pm EST should tune in to watch the Santa Anita Handicap which will be shown on fox sports 1. The 1st and 2nd place finishers of the Breeders Cup Classic Mucho Macho Man and Will Take Charge will meet as well as Game on Dude the favorite in the Breeders Cup classic. Should be a terrific race featuring the best horses Dirt horses in the US.Comment -

Here is a link to the pp's of the race if anyone wants to check them out. One of the 3 I mentioned earlier are extremly likely to win. Not a great race to take a longshot IMO. But you never know.

Idk if this is the right forum for this but what percentage of your bets do you guys make prior to practice/qualifying and what % on race day? I never bet anything prior to the day of the race and im sure its costing me a little but betting before they unload always feels like trying to look into the future without a crystal ballComment -
becuase last year it killed the odds if I even mentioned I was gonna play somebody. Ill post then early and see what happens next week from Bristol, but it was starting to cost me $. The book knew people were following them and they over adjusted. That's why most talk off forum about their openin plays. I always post my roster on raceday though.
U can ask any1 in the thread. It killed odds if I posted my bet early for rest of the week til sessions. The odds would never rebound to bet them again b4 practices. It was significant too. They aren't dumb after the way we had crushed the books for years. They drop bad enough when I make a bet anytime.
But everybody knew my early plays via text messages. Or u can just PM me is be happy to tell u. Not like I'm keeping them secret.
But I never know really til I see openers who I will take early from all my notes I just have a short list to look at from prior career and recent track success and go from there. Then I wait til after session and raceday odds postComment -
I personally have no %. It all depends on the particular racetrack and the opening odds. Sometimes I'll bet 3 or 4 most of my lineup early if the odds are really good imo and have a lot of early value. Sometimes I won't bet but maybe 1 driver early. It is always a roll of he dice. But I usually add more max bets in them anyways but getting best # early always saves $ and makes u alor more of they win. U can always add if there are better odds later.
I don't consider it a crystal ball at all of odds are good and u know ur fonna bet them anyways. And like I said u can always add more $ of odds get better to make up the diff. Really its trial and error and not the same strategy for anybody.
Justikw his week I took 3 early did amazing on 2/3 but kahnes odds will be later this weekend than I bet early. So ill either add on or maybe use him as a cover if it works out. Just all depends on raceday and how many drivers I add and odds and total investment ect ectComment
