Top 9 cars made q runs yesterday, matt was the fastest in race trim, harvick was decent in race trim as well tho. I am surprised at how many people overreacted to harvicks lap. On dsi he had around 4% of the bets before and now he has has the most as of right now at almost 14%

Thats interesting info from DSI, but am wondering just how many NASCAR dollars they take this early. Numbers could be based on just a few thousand in bets at a guess.

Im sure its probably not even 20% of what they will take in before the race, just a idea of what the general public are betting. its definitely interesting info tho. Plus I would say there far from the most popular book for racing, just a guess tho, i have no way of telling

This is different to last week with the 3 sessions. The final 5 minutes for pole could be crazy and fun, or just a bit too short for everyone to get their fast lap in clean.

looking forward to it. Definitely more interesting than old quali. And will get better once they tweek it and we all get used to the strategy I think.

i trolled around last year. made a few posts. been betting on nascar since 1999/2000. made some big scores lost a few but overall nascar been very very good to me. can almost play every track off my memory. sometimes just need a few details to remember the race. i have a few friends that chat nascar here in reno, but they tend to lean the conversation to their favorite driver and that drives me nuts. so started posting a few thoughts on here to get a conversation going. seems though that everyone just wants plays posted and not much discussion. just trying to fit in. off to a great start so far this year on bets and plan on tossing some of that around in vegas this weekend while on a "working" trip. im the knucklhead that walks into a book in a flower shirt and says "how do you bet this nascar stuff" then bet a few grand on some drivers....the looks i get are priceless. cant do that in reno as everyone knows me and im limited.

I k knew openers in some longershots would have good value. At least I thought so. Not so much on favorites imo.

Yeah no favs had too much value imo this week. Was plenty mid packers that did though odds wise imo. I didn't see a big enough odds on top 3 favs to make an early bet on them

Could use him as cover maybe just depends on how his odds move and how many driver I bet and odds. If I even use a cover this week. Won't know til raceday though


rolled the dice on a few and paid off. Still gonna bet them more but I'm gonna get a great # on big play. Won't be using either for my cover either which I do sometimes if early play turns out awful or just bet at worse odds sometimes and let it roll with my gut
