the nfl playoffs don't clash with each other so why does NHL/nba maybe because there post season is so long they just have to fit the games in

It is weird, and it seems to not give random outcomes from SC periods like we were having... which is the intent.

But what it does do is neutralize the race by giving everyone a free pit stop.

They should just close the pits during safety car periods. No one can run out of fuel.

yeah earlier in the playoffs they have to but today each sport has only one game, so I don't know why they want to go head to head
