1) We all know this is Happy's last season at RCR. Any speculation or inside dope on who he signs with next?

2) If Kahne's crew chief had called for them to pit on the caution with 15 laps to go, would he have won?

Its a toss up if others would have stayed out. I think most would have still come to pit road with that many laps left. Just glad I had them both orbi would have been pissed! Best car hasn't been winning races

I agree most still would have come to pits if Kahne had pitted.

As it turned out I think he would have had a better chance had they gone that way, but could not say I would have known that beforehand.

yeahbut, after 2 or 3 had stayed out the rest of the field would be thinking new tires whatever Kahne had done. there was only 8 on the lead lap I think.

The more I think about it, the more I start to think coming in and making sure he was first car on new tires probably was the obvious safest call.

yeah I agree being first to decide made it very tough there

no way to know what the others would have done had Kahne pitted but with Kahne not pitting, that made the decision easy, and that finished Kahne

Best car hasn't been winning races

Because we always seem to get in situations that cause the crew for the best car to make difficult decisions. Be it fuel strategy or coming for tires, all because of "timely" debris cautions.

Kahne should of came, no way the entire group of lead lap cars stay out. Maybe 5 at the most, but with tires, Kahne would of made quick work of them. He had no problems passing.

Kenseth's crew, another top car, made a stupid mistake of staying out earlier in the race. Yes he had plenty of time to make it up, but he was back in traffic, and that always is a bad thing. Dirty air, start and parks still holding on, and just more aggressive drivers trying to say on the lead lap. Another bone headed call to stay out.

well yeah theres tons of reasons why they didnt, but thats just nascar....really its like that every year
